Please protect us, teachers, disciples, people, and livestock, Svaha! Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum. Sixteen fears, pacify, do, Svaha! Recite these mantras a little or as much as you like. If you are worried about being harmed by the Mongols, visualize light radiating from the heart of your own Great Compassion, forming a great storm of weapons and fire, reversing the harm, evil thoughts, and cruelty of the enemy. Again, visualize light radiating, forming a solid and stable Vajra tent, surrounding yourself and the people and livestock. Recite: Om Mani Padme Hum. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om Mani Padme Hum.) Vajra Mama Raksha. (Tibetan: བཛྲ་མ་མ་རཀྵཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vajra mama rakṣaḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Vajra Mama Protect.) By reciting this, you will not encounter them, and even if you do, you will not be harmed. In particular, visualize yourself and all those to be protected transforming into the form of the Goddess of Light, placed within three overlapping layers of solar and lunar amulets, the light blinding their eyes. Behind that, visualize a yellow pig facing outwards, making a howling sound, surrounded by three layers of fence. Recite the long and short mantras of the Goddess of Light. Alternatively, visualize the forms of the Lord and Lady of the Cemetery surrounding all the camps, looking outwards, and uttering the sound of mantras. Also recite the mantra of the Lord of the Cemetery. If you need to camp in a place where there is livestock disease, visualize the Goddess of Leaves descending from the sky like rain, dissolving into all the livestock. From the east, many Medicine Buddhas descend like rain, visualize each Medicine Buddha residing in the crown of the head, throat, heart, and nine orifices of all the livestock. Pray to the Buddha Medicine Master and the Goddess of Leaves who dwells in the mountains, to protect these livestock. Protect us from the fear of livestock disease. Say this a few times, then recite: Om Lati Svati Svava. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ལ་ཏི་སྭཱ་ཏི་སྭཱ་ཝ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: oṃ lāti svāti svāva, Chinese literal meaning:) Recite this mantra many times, then blow towards that direction and the direction where the livestock are. If you need to pass through a place where there is horse disease, visualize the horse owner, black Kubera, brandishing a sword in his right hand, threatening the demons that harm the horses, holding the horse's reins in his left hand, protecting the horses, and visualize the number of horses. Visualize all the horses wearing leather armor and leather helmets, riding black horses, and being inseparable from all the horses. Recite: Om Ah Kubera Ting Ghora Raksha. Then blow towards the direction where the horses are. If you are worried about robbers, always perform Tsog offering and recite this Heruka mantra: Om Vajra Sadhu Samaya, enemies, robbers, thieves, Bhandha Bhandha Sva.

Āḥ Hā! Thus, it is recited. If one must pass through a place with mad dogs, visualize each Gyalwa (རྒྱལ་བ་, jayal ba) Gyatso (རྒྱ་མཚོ་, gya mtsho) on the crown of the head of every person, horse, dog, and all livestock, and visualize them dissolving back into it, doing this visualization extensively. Recite: Om Wale Ye Wale Ye Ai Svaha. If one must go to or stay in a place with roots, visualize oneself as the great peacock queen goddess, as large as a mountain, with two hands holding a vase near the ears, from which a stream of white nectar rain falls, washing away the diseases of people, livestock, horses, cattle, and the land. Recite this mantra as much as possible: O great peacock queen goddess, liberate us from herbal poisons, mixed poisons, putrid poisons, black poisons, and all kinds of poisons. Om, Black Brahmin strike (藏文：རྦད，梵文天城體：भट्ट，羅馬轉寫：bhaṭṭa，字面意思：strike). Black Yama strike. Putrid strike. Worms wriggle wriggle. Worms drain blood. Thus, it is recited. If one fears that horses or livestock will stray and be lost, visualize oneself as Gyalwa Gyatso, from whose heart rays of light like iron chains emanate, binding their feet. Again, visualize rays of light emanating, obscuring all paths, so that they cannot find a place to go. Recite: Om Mani Padme Hum. Hata Hum Ta Dlok Kye Lili. Then, even if the army is about to enter or has already entered, visualize oneself as Gyalwa Gyatso, from whose heart red rays of light emanate, quickly gathering all the people, monks, and benefactors. Visualize illuminating them with the light, and also illuminating the army. Recite: Om Mani Padme Hum. Sangha Loka Pa Sham Kuru Ye Svaha. Thus, a gathering of people will quickly occur. Visualize oneself as Gyalwa Gyatso, from whose heart white rays of light emanate, striking all the people. Visualize the goddess of leaves descending from the sky like rain, filling all directions and dissolving into the people. Recite: Om Mani Padme Hum. Vajra Raksha Raksha. If one recites a little and has the people expel the pisachas, diseases will not occur. If one fears being devoured by tricksters or thieves, or being harmed by hateful individuals, visualize oneself as Gyalwa Gyatso, from whose heart white rays of light emanate, striking all the malicious individuals, robbers, and thieves, causing them to be free from harmful thoughts, and transforming into the form of the Great Compassionate White Tara, with one face and four arms.
