Born of all Buddhas, the only son of all Buddhas, it is the rein of attaining Nirvana. This is the essential word that arises spontaneously. Wherever in the world, whoever attains Buddhahood, at that time, this word leaps three times into the sky, and arises from these five self-arisen lights. The yogi who holds this is very fortunate. All the words of this three times, without addition or subtraction, whoever speaks with the vajra tongue, this also becomes equal to that, there is no doubt about this transformation. Therefore, all the lineages of the teachings, even if one knows how to meditate on everything at once, there is no liberation without this appearing. This is the seed that grows by itself. Whoever is the master of the teachings, that is the Buddha. Without this seed, the words of the teachings, even just a word, cannot be spoken by the function of the tongue. Without relying on this word, not even a particle arises. In the dregs of a single teaching, all these words of blessing, whoever they appear to, that person can also speak the unseen tantras and treatises with the function of the tongue. It can show how all the thoughts of all sentient beings, and the intentions of all Buddhas, are in accordance with all the dharmas. It is one with the minds of all the Buddhas, and transforms without distinction from the intention of Vajradhara. Therefore, it is the embers of the teachings. This king of self-arisen words, in the birth body of each sentient being, in each of their languages, this also appears as such. Therefore, in the self-arisen letters, it is naturally accomplished from the very beginning. Even in the self-arisen Bhagavan, it appears as a complete form in this way. In the treasury of the Dharma, this word has always arisen by itself, becoming the basis of the first memory, before all memory is exhausted, all these words also appear. When memory is exhausted, and this word is exhausted, the word Vajra, because it is free from the cause of arising, therefore Vajra is the secret mantra of all arising. Because it does not show many paths of means, therefore the practice of self-means arises from this. The essence is self-taming, the essence of the teachings, it is the descent of the basis itself. The firm word of equality of all dharmas, all of this appears in its own essential place, there is not a single disappearance in this. Also as the root of meditation and accomplishment, this mantra is not a confusing word, it is the unconfused beginning.

Id kyi gzhi (Tibetan, , ,) This basis of "Id," from which arises the extensive tantra. (Tibetan, , ,) Just as fruit arises naturally from the cause, all words arise from this very one. (Tibetan, , ,) From the state devoid of memory and thought, it arises without effort. (Tibetan, , ,) For the person who holds the rays of light, this becomes apparent. (Tibetan, , ,) From that, it develops and some numbers arise; the secret truth is this very one. (Tibetan, , ,) Countless Vajradharas, their minds are one, their intention is one. (Tibetan, , ,) It is the root of ungrasping distraction, the key to all Tögal breakthroughs. (Tibetan, , ,) It is the supreme key to unlocking one's own ground; this holds the seed of bliss. (Tibetan, , ,) It is the wisdom of all Buddhas; this sky-like pure sky-peg holds the root of all teachings. (Tibetan, , ,) By holding the variety of numbers of this, the battles of the Asuras turn back on themselves. (Tibetan, , ,) Merely holding this phrase transforms; all the battles of the three realms are averted by this. (Tibetan, , ,) It blocks the escape routes of the six realms; into the city without sorrow, it is the wheel for entering. (Tibetan, , ,) For those bound by existence, this liberates them. (Tibetan, , ,) The essence of the holy ones in the lineage, naturally arises from descent. (Tibetan, , ,) This does not abandon the body of the Lama; with the sun's light blazing in the heart, the darkness pervading the ten directions is self-liberated by this. (Tibetan, , ,) Especially the wisdom that abides, this supremely reveals it. (Tibetan, , ,) It is the mother who gives birth to the rare and supreme ones; the mind naturally calms, meditation is spontaneously accomplished. (Tibetan, , ,) It is the lamp that simultaneously reveals the appearance of the Dharmakaya. (Tibetan, , ,) From what is inverted to what is correct, it is the stream of water that purifies. (Tibetan, , ,) It is the chariot that carries all vehicles to the ultimate end. (Tibetan, , ,) It is the rein for entering hearing, thinking, and meditating, it is the object for entering. (Tibetan, , ,) It is the flexible and pliant hook that holds all the Tripitaka. (Tibetan, , ,) It is the surveyor for entering the path of the pure mandala of yoga. (Tibetan, , ,) It blocks the wombs, the holes; it is the self-erecting ladder of liberation. (Tibetan, , ,) It opens the expanse of pure light; it is the hope for all dharmas. (Tibetan, , ,) It subdues the heads of demons and heretics; it is the clarification of obscured wisdom. (Tibetan, , ,) It is the life-force of all aspirations and practices; it is the knot of gods and mantras. (Tibetan, , ,) It is the generating tree of all mandalas; it is the cleansing bath for wrong views and meditations. (Tibetan, , ,) It is the perfection of the heart essence of the oral instructions; after the number of the Vajrayana is complete, it goes.
