I actually have four kinds of empowerment, namely outer, inner, secret, and distinctive empowerments. First, the outer lineage lama empowerment: From the invisible space, the root lineage lamas descend like thick clouds in the sky, merging into you. May you aspire to receive all empowerments, blessings, and accomplishments. Place the Tsakli of the Lama Lineage on your head and recite: Emaho! From the realm of Ogmin, the immortal body is revealed. Pray to the body of Khodpung Drenpa. From the invisible space, emanate the light of compassion. Please bestow the Yungdrung longevity empowerment. Recite the lineage prayer accordingly. Second, the inner Yidam deity empowerment: The immortal life-lord, Drenpa, father, mother, and retinue, descend like rain from the place of Khachö Great Bliss, merging into you. May you aspire to dissolve all aggregates, elements, and sense bases into the deity's body, awareness power, and wisdom. Place the Tsakli of the main deity on your head and recite: Swoh Om! Praise the Tathagata Rigdzin, etc., as follows: Immortal supreme deity and retinue, bestow the supreme empowerment upon the fortunate child, grant the accomplishment of Yungdrung longevity. Recite the essence mantra. Third, the longevity vase and increase empowerment: Inside the palace of the Longevity Increase, the Yungdrung precious jewel shines. The life-lord Khodpung, the great immortal Rigdzin, father, mother, and retinue, reside. With intense devotion and reverence, inspire their minds. From their hearts, immeasurable rays of light emanate, gathering all the life essence of samsara and nirvana in the form of nectar light into the vase in their hands, melting and boiling. From the mouth of the vase, a stream of nectar drips slowly, entering from the crown of your heads, filling the entire body. Thus, the four empowerments are perfected simultaneously. Obtain a life without birth or death. May you aspire to transform into the unchanging Yungdrung body. Place the Longevity Increase on your head and recite: Swoh Om! From the self-born Khyunlung Silver City, the immortal Drenpa, the power of longevity, remember the vows of the past, grant the accomplishment of Rigdzin longevity. Recite the essence mantra.
