These Northern Lineage practices were brought forth from the great treasure place of the Void Treasury, and are the supreme Dharma that is successively transmitted to Dharma masters who possess the lineage. Visualize the Lama, the master of the mandala, the Great Vajrakumara, together with the retinue of self-manifested emanations, surrounded by all the refuge places of the directions and times. Thinking that all beings, equal to space, until reaching the essence of enlightenment, take refuge, please repeat after me: Namo! All beings, without exception, The Lama, the embodiment of the Three Jewels, Glorious Vajrakilaya, Together with the Dakinis, I take refuge. Repeat three times. After that, in order to generate the supreme Bodhicitta, which is the uncommon Great Vehicle, make the aspiration: In order to place all sentient beings who have been my mothers in the state of the Bhagavan Vajrakumara, I will receive the ripening empowerment, and for that purpose, I will practice the profound two-stage path of liberation. Remembering that the nature of all phenomena, both the generation of Bodhicitta and the phenomena that generate it, is pure from the beginning as the great luminosity free from elaboration, realize the ultimate Bodhicitta, please clearly remember and repeat after me: In order to liberate beings equal to space, I wish to attain Vajrakumara, All phenomena are completely pure in their nature, Meditate on the nature of non-objectification. Repeat three times. In front of these supreme objects, purify the two obscurations and habitual tendencies of the three doors through prostrations and confession.

Accumulating the supreme collection of two accumulations through offerings and the like, and extensively spreading the roots of virtue through complete dedication, after gaining a clear understanding of these aims, recite this. Guru, glorious great Vajrakila deity, along with the Three Jewels and the assembly of Dakinis, I respectfully prostrate with body, speech, and mind, I offer outer, inner, and secret offerings, I confess and repent of transgressions, errors, and impairments, I rejoice in superior and inferior virtues, I urge the turning of the Dharma wheel, I request you not to pass into sorrow but to remain, I dedicate the virtue to beings equal to space, may all beings attain Buddhahood. Three times. Thus, after taming the mindstream and becoming a suitable vessel for entry, generating joy and proclaiming the vows, therefore, please listen to this. HO! In the mandala of Vajrakumara, those fortunate ones who enter without wavering, in all times of countless kalpas, will not see such a mandala as this. Therefore, generate true joy, the life of secret mantra is the samaya, you should protect it properly. Thinking of protecting properly all the vows in general and in particular, the root and branches, as commanded, recite this. We are fortunate to have merit, especially the twenty-five, the samayas of body, speech, and mind, we will protect them like our life without abandoning them.
