I fill it with black beans, and add splendor with the three methods of smearing, fumigating, and striking, etc. If a properly prepared vajrakila is available, then all the deity kilas are gathered together, or if not available, then the main kila itself is placed. In a convenient place in front or behind it, if a male skullcup with auspicious signs can be found, then the heart essence pledge offering is placed, which is the practice offering: one large glorious offering cake surrounded by ten identical offering cakes, with a deity statue placed on top and a black cloth tent erected, arranged on a platform. To the right and left of it, on slightly lower platforms, are also arranged the offering cakes of the yidam and the protector kila, etc., both common and specific protectors' offering cakes, with a medicinal offering sprinkled with amrita (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) on the right. On the left is a rakta offering with a large piece of meat. If available, the containers for these two should preferably be hermaphrodite and female skullcups respectively. Around the perimeter, the outer and inner offering implements, etc., are arranged according to the practice instructions. One sits in the manner of facing the deity, with a swastika and dharma wheel drawn with rice or white earth under a soft and comfortable cushion. In front are placed the vajra bell, damaru, inner offering, scattered flowers, etc. Furthermore, after gathering all the necessary implements such as tsok substances without any lack, that night, extensive offerings are made to the Three Jewels, accumulating merit. One confesses one's faults with a strong sense of remorse. With great devotion, one prays to the lama and yidam deities, praying that there will be no obstacles to the practice and that accomplishments will be quickly attained, and then one sleeps with the yoga of sleep. Then comes the actual practice: here it is said to begin from the early session, so the next morning one rises with the yoga of rising. After dawn, one sits on the cushion in a meditative posture. Then, following the practice manual, one straightens the body from the preliminary seven branches to the main practice of the three samadhis, and then to the praises. As for recitation: With the blessed mala as the guide, according to the practice manual, one visualizes the body as the deity's mudra, the speech as the seed syllables, and the mind as the dharmata, allocating about one-third of each session to each of these three japa contemplations, visualizing clearly. One recites with single-pointed concentration. The mantra to be recited is, in all three japa contemplations: om vajra kili kilaya sarva vighnam bam hum phat dza hum ah (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), which is the nine-syllable life mantra. The five-syllable action mantra. And the

Recite the seventeen-syllable (mantra) that connects the three (seed syllables) completely as one. Although it is said that when reciting the retinue mantras such as the Ten Wrathful Ones during the common Tsog offering practice, one should recite one-tenth of the main deity's (mantra), it is not mentioned in the scriptures during this self-benefit gradual path to enlightenment, so there is no need to recite them. Some rituals hold that there is no need to attach the འཕྱོང་སྔགས་འབྲུ་གསུམ་ (Tibetan: འཕྱོང་སྔགས་འབྲུ་གསུམ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal meaning: Hanging Mantra Three Syllables) during this recitation, which is because it has been influenced by the recitation portion of the common Tsog offering practice. Here, since the seventeen-syllable (mantra) itself exists in the mantra list arranged in the self-benefit method, it is reasonable to connect the hanging mantra. Furthermore, avoid the faults of mantra and samadhi such as the mantra being too fast, too slow, the sound being too loud, too soft, and sinking into drowsiness and sleep, as well as mental distractions. One should single-mindedly learn to recite the sound of the mantra clearly and correctly with the clarity of samadhi and stable pride. At the end of each session, perform a brief emptiness offering and praise. Then, with three ཧཱུྃ་ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ,Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ,Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum), gather the mandala into the inconceivable realm of dharmadhatu. With three ཕཊ་ (Tibetan: ཕཊ,Sanskrit Devanagari: फट,Sanskrit Romanization: phaṭ, Literal meaning: Phat), arise as the deity in the interval of the session, expand all outer and inner phenomena with the wheel of the deity, mantra, and clear light, and apply it to the stream of samadhi like a river. Regarding the method of dividing sessions, only four sessions are mentioned for self-benefit, without clear explanation. Although it is said in the Tsog offering practice text that there are two sessions in the morning and evening, a total of four sessions. However, in the case of self-benefit, it is not contradictory to do it in the usual way. From the second day onwards, at the beginning of each scattered session, the seven-branch preliminary practices should be performed completely. At the beginning of the recitation, the mala should also be blessed. At the beginning of the evening and night sessions of the first day, and the morning, evening, and night sessions of the three sessions from the second day onwards, it is sufficient to simply visualize the protective circle and then enter into the three samadhis, and there is no need to bless the mala. When the image of the deity and the mandala of the support clearly appear in the mind, due to the increase in recitation, in the later three sessions, one can abandon the cultivation of realization and add the words of the essential visualization of the activity at the end of their respective generation mantras, and there is no contradiction. In any case, at the end of the night session, the common and special torma offerings and dedications should be performed. If possible, one should make a regular torma offering of one's own tradition of Vajrakilaya.
