The eight classes of beings become enraged, and the breath from the mouths of the malicious ones spreads. From this, the breath of disease condenses into clouds, and disease, weapons, and famine fall like rain. Leprosy, dropsy, fever (as well as) cotton disease, intestinal carbuncles, hemorrhoids, smallpox, etc. (Among) the three arrogant ones, the first (arrogant one), bone disease, black leprosy, invades; blood disease, dropsy, accumulates into a pool; flesh disease, heart fever, afflicts. Thus it is said. From the Ambrosia Vase of Immortality, the third chapter, which reveals the causes of epidemics. Third, the revelation of names: the last of the three is fever, riding on the horse of the supporting wind, in sequence, wearing a thick robe filled with heat, (for) the elderly, descending to the place where the liver and gallbladder are hot. Categories of names: it is also called Chinese disease, yellow eyes; it is also called cotton disease, epidemic fever; it is also called fever like a thunderbolt; it is also called black running fall; it is also called folding fall backward; it is also called black three wrapped. The categories of names cannot be exhausted. All his manifestations ride horses and show various forms. All the diseases of the degenerate age, there is not one that does not belong to him. Doctors misdiagnose the pulse as bile disease, and foolish people (among the) masses treat wind disease, or women misdiagnose bone disease as cold disease. Mostly, they aggravate (the condition), and few can correctly diagnose the disease. From the Ambrosia Vase of Immortality, the fourth chapter, which reveals the names of epidemics. Fourth, the revelation of the time when epidemics arise: when the lifespan of sixty years declines, (among) sentient beings, an army that kills without compassion, after the border (of) Mongolians occupy the central land, in the Tibetan region, when three-quarters of sentient beings lose their breath and fall, the great wheel of the earth (earthquake) moves greatly, trees and forests shake and collapse, mountain stones fall into rivers like rain, all sentient beings are frightened and terrified, (among them) some people's body, life, and breath separate by three-quarters. After that, fire blazes in the sky, the light of the sun, moon, stars, and planets diminishes, rain is like flowers, rabbit horns (non-existent). Growing crops are destroyed. The stone wheel (grinding flour) stops turning. The sound of hot and cold fighting disappears. A disease called "Kug" also appears (lymph node swelling). The senses decline, and the light disappears. (This) disease destroys three-quarters, becoming thin and weak like a hungry ghost.

༔ When the unrestrained body clings to the mat, It's rare to have a healing method and excellent medicine. The signs of behavior that arise from this are: Wearing bad clothes like a dog's den, Wearing a bad woolen hat, Hanging red sleeves connected at the opening. After claiming a high view, Without knowing the true nature of (ཕཊ, phaṭ, फट्, pa), Without knowing the characteristics of (ཕཊ, phaṭ, फट्, pa), Mouthing (ཕཊ, phaṭ, फट्, pa), saying that whatever one does, death will come, greed is greater than anything. Such situations will surely appear, Practicing heretical religions that are without Dharma. When such times come, Black demons will run rampant and become prevalent. From the Vase of Immortal Ambrosia, The fifth chapter, showing the time when epidemics arise. Fifth, Showing the Duration: The duration is either one month or one year, Or up to one cycle of twelve years, Like a leper eating village food, Repeatedly returning to familiar places. Second, the inner protector (nine heroes): Placing the torma inside, Guarding by surrounding with the protective circles (paint, stake, mantra, wheel) of the four directions. Third, the secret protector: In the state of non-thought and emptiness, Without separating from the pride of the deity, Visualizing the emanation of the blue garuda bird, And the mandala of the blazing sun and moon. All dharmas are emptiness, Abiding in the state of non-discrimination. From the Vase of Immortal Ambrosia, The seventh chapter, showing the methods of protecting against epidemics.
