This is the chapter on curing voice ailments. Avoid eating wild animal meat, rabbit meat, fish, bird meat, deer meat, rotten yak meat, and sumpa, as well as old sour alcohol, strong-smelling turnips. Avoid eating plums, leaves, and vegetables, avoid applying oil and black butter. Do not perform bloodletting, drink urine. Eat the three whites (milk, butter, yogurt) and contemplate the white deity. Recite the six-syllable mantra and practice postures. Practice pulse energy and perform the wheel. This is the chapter on vows. If reversion presses on the stomach and is fiery, vomiting is due to indigestion. Subdue what is unsubdued, and then subdue what is unsubdued. Administer three doses of medicine, then chase it with broth. Mix long pepper and other ingredients in equal parts, boil rock honey in broth, and boil lentils in broth. When wind arises, the head is heavy, and one desires to sit and lie down. Perform massage and replenish with fresh nutrients. For phlegm disorders, administer long pepper and condensed milk. For bile disorders, administer rock salt and ruta, condensed milk and yogurt, or water. The boiled juice is the nectar for the three disorders. If the legs and joints ache, or the throat is blocked, administer cold broth. Nutmeg, cardamom, golden flower, made into pills with asafoetida and brown sugar, can cure diseases such as bloating and swelling. This is the chapter on reversion suppression. The merits are inexhaustible, attain freedom from conceptualization, freedom from disease, and mastery of life. Attain two accomplishments, freedom from white hair and wrinkles, clear eyes, tight joints and teeth, firm muscles and bones, and teeth as white as yogurt. Strength—possessing the strength of union, inexhaustible semen, strong sexual power, like a peacock. Art like an elephant, powerful like a peacock, good color, firm and tight. Three faults, etc., mixed with healing substances, undigested poisons, etc., purify poisons and afflictions, destroy evil forces. Pacify obstacles and be liberated from all causes of death. Attain the life-holding awareness, Feet swift as lightning, manifest clairvoyance. Intelligence is clear, able to see various sights or see deities, etc. By nature, there is no obscuration, no attachment, clear speech, able to understand acceptance and rejection. Having attained the supreme accomplishment of clear light awareness, become a Buddha.
