Daḥ. The practice of recitation is as follows: Visualize in your heart the essence of the father Yamaraja, a nine-pointed iron vajra with horns raised and blazing with fire. In its center, on a sun disc, is the syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ，hūṃ，seed syllable), surrounded by a garland of mantras. From this, rays of light emanate, cutting off all untamed and malevolent beings. All the blessings and power of the Three Roots, Dharma Protectors, and Guardians dissolve into you, causing the splendor of deity, mantra, and wisdom to blaze intensely. Then recite: Oṃ Vajrakrodhīśvarī Siṃhamukha Hūṃ Phaṭ (ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཀྲོ་དྷཱི་ཤྭ་རཱི་སིཾ་ཧ་མུ་ཁ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ，oṃ vajrakrodhīśvarī siṃhamukha hūṃ phaṭ，Om, Vajra, Wrathful,自在，Lion-faced, Hūṃ, Phaṭ) seven hundred thousand times or as many as possible. This is the approach. Second, the accomplishment: From the syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ，hūṃ，seed syllable), surrounded by a garland of accomplishment mantras, rays of light emanate, burning and purifying all grasping at phenomena and beings. Visualize all appearances, sounds, and thoughts awakening into the mudras of the body, speech, and mind of the Ḍākinī Siṃhamukhā, rich in the expanse of reality. Recite: Āḥ Kaḥ Saḥ Maḥ Raḥ Caḥ Śaḥ Daḥ Raḥ Saḥ Maḥ Raḥ Yaḥ Phaṭ (ཨཿཀཿསཿམཿརཿཙཿཤཿདཿརཿསཿམཿརཿཡཿཕཊ，āḥ kaḥ saḥ maḥ raḥ caḥ śaḥ daḥ raḥ saḥ maḥ raḥ yaḥ phaṭ) four hundred thousand times. Third, the কর্ম (karma) practices are twofold: general and specific. First: From the garland of mantras in your heart, emanate white rays of light, stimulating the heart-essence of Buddha Siṃhamukhā. From this, emanate an inconceivable multitude of white rays of light, pacifying all unfavorable circumstances. Visualize this gathering into a white tent of light. Add to the end of the accomplishment mantra: Ha Buddha Siṃhamukha Oṃ Śāntiṃ Kuru Svāhā (ཧ་བུདྡྷ་སིཾ་ཧ་མུ་ཁ་ཨོཾ་ཤཱནྟིཾ་ཀུ་རུ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ，ha buddha siṃhamukha oṃ śāntiṃ kuru svāhā), and recite. Similarly, yellow rays of light stimulate the lineage of Ratna Siṃhamukhā, accomplishing all enriching activities. Visualize this gathering into a yellow tent of light outside the white tent of light. Recite: Rī Ratna Siṃhamukha Bhrūṃ Puṣṭiṃ Kuru Oṃ (རི་རཏྣ་སིཾ་ཧ་མུ་ཁ་བྷྲཱུྃ་པུཥྚིཾ་ཀུ་རུ་ཨོཾ，rī ratna siṃhamukha bhrūṃ puṣṭiṃ kuru oṃ). Red rays of light stimulate the lineage of Padma Siṃhamukhā, subduing appearances and minds. Visualize this gathering into a red tent of light. Recite: Nī Padma Siṃhamukha Hrīḥ Vāśaṅ Kuru Ho (ནི་པདྨ་སིཾ་ཧ་མུ་ཁ་ཧྲཱིཿཝཱ་ཤངྐུ་རུ་ཧོ，nī padma siṃhamukha hrīḥ vāśaṅ kuru ho). Blue rays of light stimulate the lineage of Karma Siṃhamukhā, cutting off all unfavorable circumstances. Visualize this gathering into a blue tent of light. Recite: Sa Karma Siṃhamukha Hūṃ Māraya Phaṭ (ས་ཀརྨ་སིཾ་ཧ་མུ་ཁ་ཧཱུྃ་མཱ་ར་ཡ་ཕཊ，sa karma siṃhamukha hūṃ māraya phaṭ). Rays of various colors stimulate the heart-essence of all the main deities and their retinues, spontaneously accomplishing the four activities. Visualize this gathering into a tent of light mixed with five colors. Recite: Vaṃ Vajra Siṃhamukha Sarva Siddhi Hūṃ Hūṃ (བཾ་བཛྲ་སིཾ་ཧ་མུ་ཁ་སརྦ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ，vaṃ vajra siṃhamukha sarva siddhi hūṃ hūṃ). Green rays of light stimulate the heart-essence of the Three Roots and all the Buddhas, generating compassion.

Visualize the HUM syllable and mantra garland in the heart, entering into the seamless union of the sun and moon, and within the HUM syllable, one's own wind-mind and that of the main deity being protected are inseparable, transforming into a bright, lustrous, and cohesive white bindu, radiating five-colored light. Around the perimeter, clearly visualize the other beings to be protected, either in their actual form or with the first letter of their name adorned with a bindu.
