After carefully cleaning the site, build a wall at the door and place the consecrated tsa-kli of the Four Great Kings on it. In front of it, arrange offering tormas and bless them. Visualize the wall as a wall deity, perform generation, absorption, and offering, and pray for activities. In this way, visualize that all surroundings are cut off by the protective fence of the Four Great Kings, which is the outer boundary. The inner boundary is: Hūṃ! From the heart of the Great Glorious Blood-Drinker... etc., one shloka, and "Oṃ Vajra Cakra Tīkṣṇa Karma Kīlaya Jvala Raṃ (藏文:ཨཱོཾ་བཛྲ་ཙཀྲ་ཏཱིཀྵྞ་ཀརྨ་ཀཱི་ལ་ཡ་ཛྭ་ལ་རཾ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajracakra tīkṣṇa karma kīlaya jvala raṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡,金刚轮,锐利,事业,橛,燃烧,让)", with vajras, wheels, swords, and kila, etc., various weapons, fill all directions, above and below, with tents of weapons and fire walls, and think that it is indestructible. The secret boundary is: all that is to be cut off and that which cuts off in between are merely discriminations. Realizing the nature of mind as empty and clear, which is the Dharmakaya, even the name of obstacle does not arise. This is the indestructible vajra boundary, which cannot be destroyed by anyone. After setting the boundary in this way, do not encounter new things that have not been included in the visualization before, and do not exchange items. This protection wheel should not be removed except at the time of the last session when the boundary is to be dissolved. At the beginning of each session, remind yourself and reinforce it, which is necessary to prevent obstacles from entering. Next is the arrangement of implements: In front of yourself, display the consecrated Thangka of the Samaya being. In front of it, on a pedestal smeared with five amṛtas, draw a mandala with complete doors, center, nine continents, and crescent moons, or, because of fading due to long time, etc., to reduce faults and for convenience, display a painted cloth. If that is not available, place nine bouquets of flowers on a covered pedestal, and then on the outer support—a skull cup of suitable size—draw a complete image of the Great Glorious One with colors mixed with white and red bodhicitta, or draw mantras and hand implements as available. Then, in the eight directions around it, in eight skull cups of Brahmins, etc., draw the images of the eight Mamos or mantras and hand implements. If that is not available, draw the Great Glorious One in one skull cup, and in the eight directions draw eight Ha syllables with their heads facing outward, and place them in the center. The inner support is the glorious torma marked with nine drops of rakta, placed to the west of the mandala. The secret support is a container with nine-stemmed plants.

Arrange the butter lamps in front of the skull image. In addition, there are the tormas of the yidam, dharma protectors, and treasure guardians, etc., and on its left and right sides, place offerings of nectar and rakta. Around it, arrange the special outer and inner offerings according to the practice, arranging them well. In the place facing the support, draw a Yungdrung Dharma wheel with rice or white earth, and on the spread Kusha grass, spread a soft and comfortable cushion. In front of it, place the vajra bell, hand drum, inner offering, scattered offerings, etc. In addition, gather all the necessary implements such as the tsok substances. First, thinking of the support as difficult to find and easy to perish, abandon the causes of generating samadhi—the actions of the body, the speech of the tongue, the attachment and aversion of the mind, etc.—and resolve to abandon the mind that craves the prosperity of existence. No matter what happens, one will not do anything that is not in accordance with the Dharma. With a strong vow to carry the practice through to the end, generate sincere devotion to the lama, compassion for sentient beings, and knowing the benefits of samadhi, repeatedly and clearly recognize how fortunate one is to be able to practice this deity. In this way, inspire one's own mind-stream, engage in the yoga of the deity, mantra, and name, and realizing that they are inherently empty, completely seize the three circles with the signless. In between sessions, also engage in accumulation and purification such as prostrations and offerings with a strong mind of confession and repentance, and earnestly pray that there will be no obstacles to the practice and that one will quickly attain siddhis. Like this, for a week, three days, or one day, etc., before actually starting the practice of the deity, in any available time, with four or two sessions a day, etc., in an appropriate way, strictly restrain oneself and practice with proper conduct. Some of these are also done before determining the break time between sessions. If there is no special need, practicing at this time is in accordance with the scriptures, and it will not be interrupted by other distractions, so it will become very good. Second, the main practice is to practice in the order of four sessions, that is, dividing it into four sessions: dawn, morning, afternoon, and dusk. This makes it easy to enter the practice and allows for strict determination of the break time between sessions. Temporarily allowing the cessation of the accumulation and purification mentioned earlier, starting from that evening or the next morning, whichever is convenient, with the yoga of getting up early in the morning.
