Ma bur rbud rbud. Thum myog bam ril ma ra ya rbad sod. Ram ram dzwa la ram. U tsa ta ya phat. The eleven seed syllables of Hayagriva. It is said to be the root mantra of Hayagriva. Below Yaksha Nagpo, the action mantra is a sky-iron razor. Nri tri, the life of enemies and obstacles. Hur thum dzah is the mantra for summoning. Whatever the harm-doer is, the name is the key. Maraya is to kill. The eight 'rbad' syllables are the mantra for killing. Or it is considered the action of a sword. From citta zung to bhyo, the twenty-eight 'rbad' syllables are the mantra. Or it is considered the action of an iron hook. From cutting the life-force to rbad sod, the twenty-nine syllables are taught as the common killing mantra. Dzwa la ram burns. U tsa ta ya burns and scatters. Phat destroys everything. There is nothing that this cannot overcome. For example, it is like a sky-iron razor. The sharpness is like fire, the speed is like lightning, the ferocity is like thunder, the violence is like a waterfall. Enemies, obstacles, curses, types of diseases, types of spirits, epidemics, swelling, types of stoves, leprosy, tumors, smallpox, swelling, madness, plague, fainting, and so on. Wherever it is applied, like fire burning grass, it burns and thoroughly burns. Like wind and ashes, it scatters and thoroughly scatters. Although there are many teachings of wrathful mantras, there is nothing more sharp and swift than this. Although there are some types of this, there is no mantra more complete and perfect than this. This has three: approach, accomplishment, and action. During the approach, recite the root mantra. During the accomplishment, recite the action mantra. During the action, recite only the action mantra. The approach mantra is like a bee seeking a hive. The accomplishment mantra is like a blazing fire. The action mantra is like a great hailstorm falling. There are three key points of the mantra: like rubbing to generate fire, like pulling a rope, like launching a cannon. Third, the protection of the three samadhis: By reciting the root mantra once, in an instant, the complete samadhi is remembered. In a triangular, dark blue mandala, one's self is the wrathful Hayagriva. Dark blue, one face, two arms, three eyes, teeth bared. The right hand holds a liberating sword, cutting the heads and bodies of enemies and obstacles into pieces. The left hand holds an iron hook, drawing out the life-force and heart of all enemies and obstacles.
