Sumbha etc. three times. Namo. The truth of the root and lineage lamas, the three supreme ones, together with the assembly of victorious ones, the ocean, and the truth of the noble, great compassionate deity assembly who completely purify all bad migrations, and the truth of the secret mantra, knowledge mantra, dharani mantra, essence, mudra, and samadhi, and by the blessing of the great truth, may all the obstructing spirits and obstacles that interrupt the life of the deceased, so-and-so, during their life, and interrupt the purification of sins at the time of death, be satisfied by this offering and depart without remaining within a league or a shout. If you do not go, your head will be split into a hundred pieces by the blazing vajra of wisdom. Saying this, burn incense with gugul. Sprinkle with white mustard seeds. Recite Om Hayagriva Hum Phat and Sumbha etc., and throw the torma outside with music. Self and front. Think that the light rays of the mantra, like flames, radiate from the heart of the noble, great compassionate one, the tamer of beings, Padmagtsugtor, which is clear, burning and purifying all the sins and obscurations of the deceased. Sprinkle with sand while reciting the mantra of Padmagtsugtor. And at the end of the mantras of Om Padmoshnisha, and if you wish, Kunrig, Akshobhya, Vajrasattva, etc., say: Om Daha Daha Sarva Naraka Gate Hetum Hum Phat! Om Pacha Pacha Sarva Preta Gate Hetum Hum Phat! Om Matha Matha Sarva Tiryak Gate Hetum Hum Phat! Then, bathe the mirror in which the image of the mandala etc. appears. Just as at the time of birth, the gods bathed him, so I bathe him with pure water of the gods. Om Sarva Tathagata Abhisheka Te Samaya Shri Hum. For the supreme body, speech, and mind of the victorious ones, although there is no impurity of disturbing emotions, in order to purify the obscurations of the three doors of the deceased, I bathe the body with pure water. Om Sarva Tathagata etc. Wipe with a bathing cloth. These are clothes without equal on their bodies. Wipe the body with pure and fragrant substances. Om Hum Tram Hrih Ah Kaya Vishodhana Ye Svaha. Pour the bathing water back into the vase and wash the support. Hrih! This is the water of the six perfections; it purifies the obscurations of the five poisons.

May the water be well arranged with six offerings! May this water of paramita purify! I prostrate to the one who performs the bath well! Say: Om Padma Ushnishaya (藏文,梵文天城体,padma uṣṇīṣa,Lotus Crown) and at the end of the six syllables, Sarva Papam Shanti Kuru Svaha (藏文,梵文天城体,sarva pāpaṃ śāntiṃ kuru svāhā,all sins, peace, do, svāhā). Likewise, the three poisons of desire, hatred, and ignorance, these are the three poisons of the world. Avalokiteshvara does not possess poison. By the truth of the Three Jewels, the poison is subdued! May the three poisons be pure in their own nature! These earth, water, fire, and wind are the parents of poison. Therefore, by speaking this truthful word, may the poisons dissolve into the four elements. May the poison of the deceased be without poison! By the truth of the Three Jewels and the blessings of samadhi and mantra, may all the poisons of this deceased be completely purified! At each interval, recite the above mantra and other mantras for purifying obscurations, such as the Hundred Syllable Mantra, and bathe. Scatter flowers. When going to the Bodhi tree, may the earth shake in six ways, and may Mara be displeased. May you have happiness and well-being. When turning the wheel of Dharma, the noble truths are spoken, and the fame of the Buddha arises. May you have happiness and well-being. Whoever deludes the heretics, may all be defeated by the Dharma, and may you control all assemblies. May you have happiness and well-being. May all sentient beings, headed by the deceased, be completely victorious over all unfavorable factors to be abandoned, and may they become extremely auspicious! Thus, speak. May the deceased, with great reverence in body, speech, and mind, prostrate to the lama and the deities of the mandala, and contemplate taking refuge. The embodiment of all Buddhas, the essence of Vajradhara, the root of the Three Jewels, I prostrate to the lamas. Protector, possessor of great compassion, omniscient teacher, field of merit and qualities, I prostrate to the Tathagata. The cause of purity, free from desire, liberated from the lower realms by virtue, the sole supreme ultimate truth, the peaceful Dharma, I prostrate. Having liberated, also shows the path of liberation, with great respect for the trainings, the sacred field, the field of qualities, I also prostrate to the Sangha. Praised by all Buddhas, adorned with sacred qualities.
