Among the nine rituals, the first is the blessing of substances: With Ram (藏文 རཾ，梵文 देवनागरी，罗马转写 ram，fire), Yam (藏文 ཡཾ，梵文 वायु，罗马转写 yam，wind), and Kham (藏文 ཁཾ，梵文 खं，罗马转写 kham，space), burn, discard, and purify all impure objects, transforming them into emptiness. From the state of emptiness, from Om (藏文 ཨོཾ，梵文 ॐ，罗马转写 oṃ，perfection), Ah (藏文 ཨཱཿ，梵文 आः，罗马转写 āḥ，unborn), Hum (藏文 ཧཱུྃ，梵文 हूँ，罗马转写 hūṃ，subjugation), and Svaha (藏文 སྭཱ་ཧཱ，梵文 स्वाहा，罗马转写 svāhā，accomplishment), arise objects of inexhaustible enjoyment, complete with the nine necessities, enriched with the nine auspicious qualities, increasing the nine joys, possessing conducive substances. Together with their assembly, vast as the expanse of the sky, appearing continuously without interruption in the cycle of time. All aspects of desirable qualities manifest, filling the realm of space. Having generally blessed with Om (藏文 ཨོཾ，梵文 ॐ，罗马转写 oṃ，perfection), Ah (藏文 ཨཱཿ，梵文 आः，罗马转写 āḥ，unborn), and Hum (藏文 ཧཱུྃ，梵文 हूँ，罗马转写 hūṃ，subjugation), specifically: Joining the palms with hollow centers at the heart, this is the mudra of the purity of dharmata. Om Svabhava Shuddhah Sarva Dharma Svabhava Shuddho'ham (藏文 ཨོཾ་སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་ཤུདྡྷཿསརྦ་དྷརྨཱཿསྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་ཤུདྡྷོ྅་ཧཾ།，梵文 ॐ स्वभावा शुद्धः सर्व धर्माः स्वभावा शुद्धोऽहम्，罗马转写 oṃ svabhāva śuddhaḥ sarva dharmāḥ svabhāva śuddho'haṃ，Om, purity of nature, all dharmas, I am purity of nature), recite three times. The substances all become emptiness, pure in their own nature. Joining the palms with hollow centers, touching the fingertips, bending the joints, and placing them at the brow, this is the mudra of the treasury of space. Namaḥ Sarva Tathagatebhyo Vishva Mukhebhyaḥ Sarva Tha Kham Udgate Sparaṇa Imam Gagana Kham Svaha (藏文 ན་མཿསརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏེ་བྷྱོ་བི་ཤྭ་མུ་ཁེ་བྷྱཿསརྦ་ཐཱ་ཁཾ་ཨུཏྒ་ཏེ་སྥ་ར་ཎ་ཨི་མཾ་ག་ག་ན་ཁཾ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།，梵文 नमः सर्व तथागतेभ्यो विश्वमुखेभ्यः सर्वथा खं उद्गते स्फरन इमं गगन खं स्वाहा，罗马转写 namaḥ sarva tathāgatebhyo viśvamukhebhyaḥ sarvathā khaṃ udgate spharaṇa imaṃ gagana khaṃ svāhā，Homage to all Tathagatas, to all faces, in every way, space arises, spreading this space, svaha). The five desirable qualities are inexhaustible, filling the sky. Joining the palms, extending them outwards, crossing the two thumbs, and placing them in front of the mouth, this is the mudra of the nectar furnace. Om Vajra Amrita Kundali Hana Hana Hum Phat (藏文 ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཨ་མྲྀཏ་ཀུཎྜ་ལཱི་ཧ་ན་ཧ་ན་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ།，梵文 ॐ वज्र अम्रृत कुण्डली हन हन हुं फट्，罗马转写 oṃ vajra amṛta kuṇḍalī hana hana hūṃ phaṭ，Om Vajra Amrita Kundali strike strike Hum Phat). All utensils become an ocean of nectar. The right hand holds the vajra fist, raising the index finger. The left hand makes the earth-touching gesture, this is the mudra of great power. Om Namaḥ Sarva Tathagata Avalokite Om Sambhara Sambhara Hum (藏文 ཨོཾ་ན་མཿསརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཨ་ཝ་ལོ་ཀི་ཏེ་ཨོཾ་སཾ་བྷ་ར་སཾ་བྷ་ར་ཧཱུྃ།，梵文 ॐ नमः सर्व तथागत अवलोकिते ॐ सम्भर सम्भर हुं，罗马转写 oṃ namaḥ sarva tathāgata avalokite oṃ sambhara sambhara hūṃ，Om Homage to all Tathagatas Avalokite Om Accumulate Accumulate Hum). All utensils become in accordance with each one's thoughts. The right hand holds the vajra fist at the heart, the left hand makes the bestowing gesture, supporting the vessel, this is the mudra of the wisdom comet. Om Jñana Avalokite Namaḥ Samanta Sparaṇa Rashmi Bhava Samaya Maha Mani Duru Duru Hridaya Jvalani Hum (藏文 ཨོཾ་ཛྙཱ་ན་ཨ་ཝ་ལོ་ཀི་ཏེ་ན་མཿས་མནྟ་སྥ་ར་ཎ་རསྨི་བྷ་ཝ་ས་མ་ཡ་མ་ཧཱ་མ་ཎི་དུ་རུ་དུ་རུ་ཧྲྀ་ད་ཡ་ཛྭ་ལ་ནི་ཧཱུྃ།，梵文 ॐ ज्ञाना अवलोकिते नमः समन्त स्फरन रश्मि भव समय महा मणि दुरु दुरु हृदये ज्वलनि हुं，罗马转写 oṃ jñāna avalokite namaḥ samanta spharaṇa raśmi bhava samaya mahā maṇi duru duru hṛdaye jvalani hūṃ，Om Wisdom Avalokite Homage All-pervading Radiance Become Time Great Jewel Duru Duru Heart Blaze Hum). The guests for the utensils use them without conflict. Crossing the fingers of both hands inwards, joining the elbows, aligning and raising the two thumbs, placing them on the crown of the head, this is the mudra of the empowering wheel. Namaḥ Samanta Buddhanam Grahe Ishvari Prabhañ Jyotinam Maha Samaya Svaha (藏文 ན་མཿས་མནྟ་བུདྡྷ་ནཱཾ་གྲ་ཧེ་ཤྭ་རི་པྲ་བྷཉྫྱོ་ཏི་ནཱཾ་མ་ཧཱ་ས་མ་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།，梵文 नमः समन्त बुद्धानां ग्रहे श्वरि प्रभञ् ज्योतिनां महा समय स्वाहा，罗马转写 namaḥ samanta buddhānāṃ grahe śvari prabhañ jyotināṃ mahā samaya svāhā，Homage All Buddhas Grasping Powerful Destroying Light Great Time Svaha). Thinking that all the guests are under my control, recite the mantras three times each, release the mudras, and then play the cymbals. Homage! The power of my thought.
