YA KU RU HUM; HA HA HA HA HO; BHAGAVAN SARVA TATHAGATA VAJRA MA ME MUNCA; VAJRI BHAVA MAHA SAMAYA SATTVA AH; Protector, I am ignorant and deluded. I have broken and damaged my vows. Lama, protector, please protect me. You are the chief, the Vajra Holder. You are the embodiment of compassion and love. I seek refuge in the leader of beings. I confess and repent all the breakages and impairments of the root and branch vows of body, speech, and mind. I pray that all the accumulations of sins, obscurations, faults, and stains may be purified and cleansed. Having prayed thus, visualize Vajrasattva dissolving into light and merging into yourself. Fourth, the mandala: In front of the aforementioned field of merit: The play of the spontaneously arising Dharmadhatu, The outer and inner worlds, the contents, existence, and Dharma, The vast and expansive realms, together with offering clouds, I offer them as completely pure in the three spheres. SARVA PUJA RATNA MANDALA HUM. Thus, offer the mandala. Fifth, the yoga of the Lama: In the expanse of the pure, clear five wisdom lights, On a lion throne, lotus, sun, and moon seat, The root Lama, Vajradhara, One face, two hands holding vajra and bell, The splendor of the marks and signs blazing, Adorned with silks and precious jewels, A form of joyful smile radiating light, Sitting upright in vajra posture. Surrounding him are the Lamas of the lineage, Yidams, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Noble Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Dharma Protectors, Appearing as if actually present. Thus, establish the visualization. To the Victorious Ones with their sons and entourages, I respectfully bow down and prostrate. Outer, inner, secret, and unsurpassed Offerings, I offer with all kinds of offerings. From beginningless lifetimes, I confess and repent all sinful actions. I rejoice in all the virtues that benefit all sentient beings. Whatever Buddhas intend to pass into Nirvana, I beseech them to remain for oceans of aeons. According to the minds of those to be tamed, I urge them to turn the wheel of Dharma. Whatever merit I have accumulated, I dedicate it all to great enlightenment. Thus, recite the seven-branch prayer three times. In the palace of the unborn, free from elaboration, Dharmadhatu, The supreme, naturally pure, primordial protector, To Kuntuzangpo Dharmakaya, infinite light, I pray, please bless my being. The field of the clear, radiant, unimpeded Vajra realm, The spontaneously accomplished, luminous, great bliss, illusory form, The enjoyment complete
