Supreme Buddha Jewel! Supreme Dharma Jewel that protects! Supreme Sangha Jewel that guides! I prostrate to the Three Precious Jewels! I take refuge in the noble Avalokiteśvara! Is it just this much? If you wish, you can expand it slightly and follow the general ritual. Placing the nameplate on the empowerment platform and cutting the connection is: Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：हुँ，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：Hūṃ)! Cutting off this place and below, the six realms exist. The three sufferings increase greatly. Birth and death are terrifying, and karma is dreadful. Do not be attached or greedy, abandon the six realms of samsara. Om daha daha sarva naraka gate hetum hum phat (Om daha daha sarva naraka gate hetum hum phat). Om paca paca sarva preta gate hetum hum phat (Om paca paca sarva preta gate hetum hum phat). Om matha matha sarva tiryak gate hetum hum phat (Om matha matha sarva tiryak gate hetum hum phat). From emptiness, relying on the sound of Om Mani Padme Hum (ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：ॐ मणि पद्मे हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ，汉语字面意思：Om, jewel in the lotus, Hum), may the deceased instantly transform into the form of the noble Avalokiteśvara, the King of the Sky, with the three places marked by three syllables and the heart marked by the Hrih (ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城体：ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：Hrih) syllable. From the heart of the master of the mandala, immeasurable rays of light emanate. From the natural abode and the infinite Buddhafields, immeasurable wisdom beings, equal to those meditated upon, come forth and dissolve, making the samaya and wisdom inseparable. Visualize that the three gates are blessed into body, speech, and mind. Place the body mandala on the crown of the head, and request: I request that the Bhagavan, along with his retinue, who is the protector of all sentient beings, the incomparable god who destroys the armies of demons and their retinues, and who knows all things as they are, come to this place! Six syllables subdue six afflictions, Six bodies attain six perfections, Six realms, six abodes emptied, possessing six Thubpas, May the empowerment of the supreme six syllables be attained! Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ! Jaḥ Hūṃ Vaṃ Hoḥ Abhiṣiñca Hūṃ! Holding a mirror. Hrīḥ Hūṃ! Self-knowing, self-illuminating, like the image in a mirror, All phenomena of existence, samsara and nirvana, are illusory forms, Unfabricated, spontaneously accomplished, primordial purity, precious, May the empowerment of the mind of equanimity, bodhicitta, be attained! Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ! Jaḥ Hūṃ Vaṃ Hoḥ Abhiṣiñca Hūṃ! Sixth, giving food and drink and showing the path. Arrange whatever food, drink, and desirable objects are available. Raṃ Yaṃ Khaṃ. From emptiness, the enjoyments of desirable objects arising from divine substances and the power of samadhi, pacifying the craving, fear, and terror of the illusory appearances of the bardo, becoming a great treasure of inexhaustible space that can generate uncontaminated bliss. Namaḥ Sarva, etc., the mantra mudra of the space treasure, and Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ! Bless by reciting three times. Recite the six syllables many times. Offer the essence to the Three Jewels and Dharma protectors. Dedicate the intermediate offerings to the deceased as desirable objects. Visualize giving the leftovers to the six realms and obstructing forces. Namo! May the Victorious Ones be pleased by the offerings! May the oath-bound ones fulfill their vows! May the desires of the six realms be satisfied! May karmic debts be repaid! May all be like the treasure of space, May enjoyment be inexhaustible! Without strife and without harm, May they freely use it at will! Namaḥ Sarva Tathāgata Avalokite Oṃ Sambhāra Sambhāra Hūṃ! Recite seven times. Hūṃ! I am the treasure of the noble, supreme compassion, In union with all the Buddhas, From the emanation of great wisdom, Satisfying all desires, The great essence of a hundred flavors, The assembly of food and drink, And the ocean of desirable wealth, May it fulfill your hopes.
