Ma is loving kindness to all six kinds of beings. The power of intense compassion pervades all. By the letter Ma (藏文, Sanskrit Devanagari, ma, mother) bestowing empowerment on the son, may the bodhicitta moisten the lineage! Ma Ma Ma! Ni is to reverse the attachment to samsara. The light of spontaneous compassion radiates to all. By the letter Ni (藏文, Sanskrit Devanagari, ṇi, none) bestowing empowerment on the son, may you gain the power to liberate from the grasping and the grasped samsara! Ni Ni Ni! Pad is to cut off all attachment to samsara. The clinging to the five poisons is purified into the five wisdoms. By the letter Pad (藏文, Sanskrit Devanagari, pad, lotus) bestowing empowerment on the son, may the grasping and the grasped attachment be self-purified, and may you gain power! Pad Pad Pad! Me is the fire that burns the afflictions of samsara. It is not stained by samsara, and is a symbol of the exhaustion of all dharmas. May you understand that your own mind, being emptiness, is unborn from the very beginning and therefore unblocked in any way. May we have the authority to meditate on the wisdom of primordial purity and spontaneous presence, and may the potential to attain the Svabhavikakaya, the fruit, be planted in our being.
