With furrowed brows, bared fangs, and three eyes gazing upwards, red-yellow hair roaring like a horse in the ten directions, body red, radiating the power of subjugation, eight charnel ground ornaments adorning the body, in a posture of stretching, bending, throwing, amidst a blaze of fire, seated on a seat of intertwined male and female Rudras, from which emanate immeasurable emanations of activity. From the emanation of the Great Wrathful One, the sky is filled; from the emanation of the Wrathful Mother, the earth is filled; from the emanation of the Non-Dual, the space in between is filled; all without exception tremble like stars. Messengers of activity fill the three thousand worlds; those without fortune, the hordes of obstructing demons, are scattered into dust; subdue all the assemblies of spirits! Oṃ Vajra Krodha Haya Grīva Bhūṃja Utsādaya Hūṃ Phaṭ! Thus, with mustard seeds, gugul incense, music, and other fierce and terrifying means, dispel them. Visualize yourself as the Great Powerful Supreme Horse King, from whose heart rays of light emanate, filling the space with an impenetrable Vajra enclosure, weapons, fire mountains, and small wrathful ones, leaving no opportunity for obstructing demons and hindrances to find an opening. Oṃ Vajra Rakṣa Rakṣa Hūṃ! Thus, meditate on the protective circle. Tie a red protective cord with a Vajra knot, empowered with the root mantra, to the right arm of men and the left arm of women. Hūṃ! For the purpose of protection, I bestow the protective cord; to purify the faults of the body, having blessed it with the root mantra, tie it to the right and left arms of the disciples. May all diseases, evil spirits, and obstacles be Rakṣa Rakṣa! Thus, speak. Offer and withdraw flowers. Generate and clarify the mind of enlightenment. Now, concerning the history related to this profound Dharma that is to be heard, in the pure land of Dharmadhatu, free from elaboration, the Great Bliss, from the power of Amitabha residing as the primordial Buddha, like the radiance of the sun and moon, Great Compassion arises as the Sambhogakaya, and with vast activities that tame beings according to their needs, it uproots them from samsara. In particular, as an antidote to those difficult to tame, the intention of all Buddhas was gathered into one and manifested as the form of Padmasambhava. First, he established sixteen countries, including western India, in the Dharma. When he was practicing in the Maratika cave, he performed one hundred and one sadhanas of the Great Compassionate One with a thousand hands and a thousand eyes. When he was residing in the Cool Grove charnel ground,

He composed one hundred and one profound instructions on Great Compassion that save all the lower realms. While residing on the upper Yari Mountain, he spoke of the eleven-faced Great Compassion and the gathering of lineages, as well as a thousand methods of practice for the Essence Gathering and others. In particular, while residing in the midst of blazing, fierce flames, he personally revealed this Great Compassion, the Gathering of All Sugatas, and prophesied and empowered the master himself, composing this unsurpassed practice, the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel. The master entrusted it to the goddess Mandarava, and through practice, she attained complete Buddhahood without residue. When Orgyen himself came to Tibet, he came with his hair coiled in a topknot. The goddess named Shelkarza Dorje Tsochok, an emanation of Kunsang Dorje Naljorma Ekajati, requested a concise and easy-to-understand teaching that united the three roots. He then took out a scroll of paper from his hair and gave it to her. The goddess practiced for twenty-one days, and the deity of the yidam personally appeared and blessed her. She attained both supreme and common siddhis and achieved accomplishment. She ripened twenty-one fortunate daughters of lineage. Thereafter, not finding a place to propagate it, considering it as a condition for the ripening and liberation of those with karma when the secret mantra flourishes but is not yet mature, especially in the time when the five degenerations are rampant, he wrote it down on the top of the Bumthang Jampa Lhakhang (temple in central Bhutan) and hid it as a treasure in the Mirror Lake, praying that it would meet with those with karma. The goddess herself lived for three hundred years and dissolved into a rainbow of light at the Padma practice place of Sengge Dzong Sum. Later, when the time came, it was brought forth by Orgyen Dorje Lingpa or Jampal Chokyi Beshen, the emanation of the great translator Vairochana, one of the five great treasure revealers, who had many names, possessed the empowerment of one hundred profound treasures, and subdued the beings of the three realms of gods, demons, and humans with the miraculous power inseparable from Padmasambhava. He personally extracted it and gave it to the empowered Serlingpa and others, and the lineage has continued unbroken. To perform the empowerment of this, there are two parts: the preliminary entry and the main empowerment ritual.
