Having shown countless different kinds (of teachings), for the benefit of future generations, from among the hundred thousand treasures that were hidden, the three tantras for liberating beings, along with their practice instructions, were hidden on the northern Zang Zang Lha Drak (Byang Zang Zang Lha brag) rock mountain, which resembles a pile of poisonous snakes. When the time came to protect the lineage of the Dharma King of Gungtang (Gung thang), one of the seven teachings on interdependent origination empowerment for taming beings, which were taken from the western red copper treasure trove from among the five hundred great Dharma sections of the five treasure troves, which were invited by the great vidyadhara Ngodrup Gyaltsen (dngos grub rgyal mtshan), the reincarnation of Zhang Sna Nampa Dorje Dudjom (Zhang Sna Nam pa rdo rje bdud 'joms). Beginning with the empowerment into the mandala of Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara Liberating All Beings, offer the mandala. Please join your palms together, filling them with flowers, and with a single-pointed mind of devotion, repeat this supplication: Kye ma! Noble Avalokiteśvara! Bodhisattva with great compassion! As you vowed in the past, Lead us from the realm of samsara! Grant the accomplishments of body, speech, and mind! (Recite) three times. Giving permission is generosity, please listen. Kye! Listen, fortunate son of the lineage! Desiring liberation is excellent! Confess sins, take vows, And generate faith, desire, and joy! The supreme empowerment will also be given! In your own heart, visualize the nature of relative bodhicitta, on the full moon disc, the nature of ultimate bodhicitta, a white five-pronged vajra, radiating light, generate this visualization, and repeat this mantra: Om bodhicitta sarva yoga citta utpādayāmi. samaya āḥ. surati samaya sattvaṃ hoḥ. siddhi vajra yathā sukham. Recite. Then, in order to clarify the three kayas as the three vajras, In the upper part of the heart, visualize the moon disc marked with hrīḥ.
