The Empowerment of the Northern Treasure Great Compassionate One, Liberating All Beings, Arranged for Recitation, Called "A Wondrous Vision." Padma Garwang Trinley. The treatise called "A Wondrous Vision," which is the Empowerment of the Northern Treasure Great Compassionate One, Liberating All Beings, Arranged for Recitation, is present. Sanskrit Romanization: namo guru mahā kāruṇikāya, Literal Chinese Meaning: Homage to the Guru, the Great Compassionate One). The radiance of the Bodhicitta is like the splendor of the autumn moon. In the dark prison of Samsara, it constantly arises. The Lord who uproots the causes and effects of suffering, I rely on the core of my heart, please grant me breath. From the five treasures that protect the land of Tibet, the unobstructed Dharma of empowerment that tames beings, in this ripening path of the wish-fulfilling jewel, enter and rest in eternal bliss. In the mandala of the Northern Treasure, the Great Compassionate One who tames beings, the stages of empowerment are three: preparation, main practice, and subsequent activities. First, on the altar in front of the support, in the center of the peaceful and complete mandala, on the center of the six-petaled lotus, place the main deity's image or the attributes of a crystal rosary and a white lotus. On the six petals, starting from the front in a clockwise direction, place dots of white, green, yellow, blue, red, and black. On the four doors, write the directional colors, or if unavailable, arrange tormas in those numbers. On top of that, on a throne, place a vase filled with the essence of twenty-five, adorned with white silk and ornaments. Beside it, place complete images equal to the number of deities and a ten-syllable chakra. To the east of that, place a vajra and bell pair. To the south, place a crown. To the west, place a vajra. To the north, place a bell. In the front, place a white, round empowerment torma with lotus petals, or definitely place a tsa-tsa of the blazing jewel Ugyen's image. If it is an empowerment by a master, then arrange the vajra and bell, conch shell, scriptures, and so on, as well as the seven treasures, eight auspicious symbols, and eight auspicious substances. At the end, arrange a white, round offering torma, surrounded by the seven outer offerings. Furthermore, prepare the necessary items such as the action vase, blindfold, flowers, nectar water, etc., and gather the protector's torma offerings, etc., and assemble the gathering. Second, regarding the mandala practice for the meaning of empowerment: according to the practice, generate and recite the self-generation, front-generation, and vase-generation. In the action vase, practice the visualization and recitation of Hayagriva, then dissolve the vase deity into light and offer the deceased's torma. Offer the torma offerings to the Seven Mothers, War Gods, and other Dharma and Treasure protectors, as well as the Tsog.

Offerings are made. Receiving the offering of the flower of wisdom. The actual empowerment is twofold: entry and the main part. First, the disciples are bathed, obstacles are dispelled, flowers are scattered and collected, and the generation of bodhicitta is clarified. Various histories are recounted. In particular, the Lord of the Blissful Realm, the Bhagavan Amitabha, the Immeasurable Light, in order to subdue all beings pervading the sky, emanated the noble Avalokiteśvara. Avalokiteśvara also emanated countless forms and names, benefiting beings as vast as the sky. Especially, the emanation that combines Amitabha and Avalokiteśvara inseparably as one, appeared as the master Padmasambhava. With immeasurable miracles and activities, he performed inconceivable deeds for the benefit of beings. All these deeds, even if recounted by the vajra tongue, cannot be exhausted. If we consider the history related to this profound Dharma, when the Bhagavan Amitabha was present, the lord of the ten bhumis, Manjushri, requested the liberation of all beings, Avalokiteśvara requested the self-liberation of afflictions, and Vajrapani requested the self-liberation of dharmata, thus resulting in the three lineages of great compassion along with their sadhanas. Amitabha himself said that from now until sixty million kalpas, he would benefit beings, and he blessed and made aspirations that countless beings would be liberated from samsara and the lower realms and be born in Sukhavati, therefore it is known as the liberation of all beings. Such three lineages along with their sadhanas were written in books, placed in a golden kapala bowl, and hidden as treasure in the Maratika cave in the southwest of Mount Potala. When the time was ripe, relying on the command and permission of Buddha Amitabha and the noble Avalokiteśvara, the great master of Oddiyana (Padmasambhava) took these three lineages from the treasure, and for the sake of taming beings, relying on these lineages, he performed five hundred thousand practices of great compassion Avalokiteshvara, and widely concealed them throughout the world, enabling the beings to be ripened and liberated. In particular, in order to make this land of the snowy mountains (Tibet) a field for the taming of great compassion Avalokiteshvara, the tantras and sadhanas
