Children, all of you are born from the power of merit accumulated in the past; look at this spontaneously accomplished mandala; you are the embodiment of countless deities, so generate joy, faith, and intense devotion; all the sins and obscurations accumulated over countless eons, upon seeing this mandala, will surely be exhausted; you are the Fearless Sky-faring Land of Akanishta, the realm of Great Bliss, layers of lotus light; the self-aware teacher, the supreme unchanging light; Samantabhadra, Lotus-born Vajra; will become renowned as the fearless, powerful, and famous one. These are the preliminary practices for entering the empowerment. Now, repeat after me this special prayer for the main empowerment: Hrih (藏文，梵文天城体：ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：Hrih)! The essence of all Buddhas of the three times, Lotus-born Vajra, Vidyadhara Amitayus, bless my body, speech, and mind, please bestow the supreme empowerment of immortal life! First, in order to invoke the accomplishment of longevity, visualize as follows: From the three places of the Lama Mandala, rays of light like the threads of dawn radiate, pervading space. By the power of stimulating the mindstream of the longevity deities, vidyadharas, ocean of victorious ones, Dharma protectors, oath-bound ones, command attendants, etc., all of your life force that has been cut off, diminished, scattered, stolen, and plundered, and the essence of the five elements of the stable vessel, the bindus of energy, the life, fortune, and wealth of all moving beings, the blessings and accomplishments of the Three Jewels, Three Roots, Dharma Protectors, etc., all without exception, transform into countless forms of five-colored rainbow light, bindus, letters, and symbols, and are invoked and come forth. They seep in through the pores of your skin, so believe that you have attained the accomplishment of the immortal Vajra life. Wave the arrow banner. Through the empowerment of the gathered victory and the five-family vases filled with the stream of deathless nectar, may the impurities of the aggregates, elements, and sense bases be purified. May you be blessed to receive the longevity empowerment of the five bodies and five wisdoms. Holding the central vase: Hūṃ hrīḥ! From the palace of the vase pervading the dharmadhātu, the supreme essence, the three roots, vidyādharas, and wisdom deities, may all obscurations of the five gates of empowerment be completely purified, and may you receive the empowerment of liberation from the six continuums and the sphere of reality, free from grasping. Place it on the head and give the vase water. Again, holding the central vase: Hūṃ hrīḥ! The youthful vase body, the expanse of dharmadhātu wisdom, from the midst of the empty, clear, ungrasping rainbow tent expanse, the self-nature of all families, the lotus-born Amitāyus, the emanated life-lords, hundreds of thousands of ḍākinīs, and all realms of existence, without exception, the fields of the victorious ones, through the empowerment of the assembled wisdom deities of the families, may you be separated from all birth and death and receive the vajra empowerment.
