Sapa ni: Visualize yourself, and relying on placing the vajra and bell at the three places, five places, and twenty-four places, you appear as the supreme Avalokiteśvara in union with his consort. In the center of the blooming red lotus, inside the slightly opened jewel box of the sun and moon, Guru Padmasambhava in union with his consort resides. At their heart, the three longevity seed syllables, white ཨཿ, green ནྲྀ་, and red ཧྲཱིཿ, abide. Visualize all appearances of samsara and nirvana dissolving into light, dissolving and dissolving. The jewel box closes, the lotus closes. From the ཧྲཱིཿ at the heart of Amitayus on the crown of your head, white and red Āli and Kāli cords emerge, coiling rightward and leftward. Amitayus descends from the Brahma aperture, residing at the top of the spontaneously born wisdom body vase, blessing and increasing. Hūṃ! May auspicious longevity increase! May the single bindu increase. May the two, method and wisdom, increase. May the three, body, speech, and mind, increase. May the four, the four immeasurables, increase. May the five, the five Buddha families, increase. May the six, the six Munis, increase. May the seven, the seven Buddhas, increase. May the eight, the eight liberations, increase. May the nine, the nine vehicles in order, increase. The seal of the body. The seal of the speech. The seal of the mind. Relying on the three seals of body, speech, and mind, may you obtain the undying victory banner, the unchanging vajra life tree, a body as solid as a vajra rock, a life as radiant as the sun and moon, and may you become endowed with the supreme empowerment of freedom. Thus, place the vajra and bell at the three places. Having thus obtained the profound and extensive longevity empowerment, finally, perform the increase, recite mantras, and wish for auspiciousness, offering a mandala to please the guru. And so on. First, repeat after me in the manner of reciting mantras. Oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra guru padma ḍākinī tshe bhrūṃ vajra āyuśe hūṃ āḥ. Oṃ āḥ hūṃ hrīḥ. Oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ. Dhūma ghaye namaḥ svāhā. Tshe bhrūṃ vajra āyuśe hūṃ āḥ. Hari nisa ra tsa hri ya. Tshe bhrūṃ vajra āyuśe hūṃ āḥ. Oṃ hūṃ trāṃ hrīḥ āḥ. Tshe bhrūṃ vajra āyuśe hūṃ āḥ.
