A working manual for invoking the supreme Vajra Life. I pray that you bestow all the accomplishments of life. Thus, recite the above mantra. Fifth, binding life: Gather all the splendor and glory, life and merit of the outer and inner worlds, and dissolve them into the life support inside the gau, and close the sun and moon gau. The four corners of the upper and lower vajra crosses are tied up and down, and the outside is tied with a vajra rope, so that it will never be broken. Sixth, taking life: Take the holding rope. Visualize yourself as Amitayus, and from the heart emanate two flat Hum syllables, which pass through the body and emanate from the two nostrils, come out from the gap of the vajra chain of the holding rope, and dissolve into all the deities of the life mandala, offering pleasing offerings. The light shines on all the inner and outer worlds, gathering splendor and glory, life and merit, essence and qualities, and dissolving them into oneself and the practice materials. Touching all the Sugatas, urge them to fulfill the benefit of those whose life is exhausted and diminished, whose merit is exhausted, and whose splendor and glory are exhausted. The light re-converges and dissolves into the life vase and so on. Visualize like this, and recite: Om Tse Bhrum Yu Bhrum Yu Tse Bhrum Ah ཨོཾ་ཨཱ་ཡུརྫྙཱ་ན་གཡུ་ཚེ་བྷྲཱུྃ༔ (Tibetan) ཨོཾ་ཨཱ་ཡུརྫྙཱ་ན་གཡུ་ཚེ་བྷྲཱུྃ༔ (Sanskrit Devanagari) oṃ āyurjñānāyuṣe bhrūṃ (Sanskrit Romanization) Om, life, wisdom, life, Bhrum. (Literal Chinese meaning) Recite as much as possible. Seventh, empowerment and absorption: All the deities of the mandala in front of you dissolve into light and dissolve into Amitayus. Amitayus also dissolves into light and dissolves into the life-nature syllable that resides in the sun and moon gau in the heart.
