From now on, know that all thoughts and concepts are the natural state of the primordially liberated dharmakāya, and cultivate the view of abiding in the natural state. If you are bestowing the life-force empowerment of the arrogant ones upon those who hold the lineage and practice, you can combine the separately clarified treasure text life-force empowerment with the supplication and offering to the arrogant ones and bestow it at this time. If you are bestowing a subsequent permission upon those who seek to complete the teachings, you can also receive it at this time. In any case, the main great empowerment is complete with the above-mentioned ones. If you combine the life-longevity empowerment here, then with all of these, the root empowerment is completely accomplished, and then, as a connection, offer a maṇḍala as the fee for requesting the auspicious life-longevity empowerment. Recite this supplication: Ema, supreme protector! Vidyādhara, lord of life, pay attention! From averting the obstacles of untimely death, grant the accomplishment of the vidyādhara of life! Three times. Ho! Possessing faith, with virtuous conduct, possessing love and altruism for beings, bestow upon those who possess the seeds of virtue, if it is improper, then depart!
