Secondly, there are three parts: preliminary, main practice, and concluding rites. First, from taking refuge, generating bodhicitta, and accumulating merit, up to blessing the offerings, perform according to the ritual manual. Secondly, there are two parts: yoga practice and activities. First, from the three samadhis to the recitation, visualize the mandala of oneself and the front as appearing like a mountain of fire. Then, recite the invocation, offering, praise, approach, accomplishment, protection, and repulsion recitations according to the instructions. Secondly, activities are divided into destructive activities and repulsive activities. Destructive activities also have eight aspects. The first is to urge the oath for gathering forces: Hūṃ! From the play of Amitabha's compassion, arises Padmasambhava, the subduer of demons, as an emanation.
