Offer the eye-consciousness and recite the Seven-Line Prayer and the Vajra Guru mantra. Invoke and absorb the wisdom with incense and music, etc. Recite "Supratiṣṭha" and scatter flowers to stabilize it. Then, take the vase and visualize Guru Padmasambhava with the attire of a Skull Garland Heruka, residing as a clear light body within the vase. From his body, speech, and mind, emanate white, red, and blue rays of light, which dissolve into your three places. Hūṃ! (藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽) Through this symbolic empowerment of the vase mandala, by bestowing empowerment upon the sons of the lineage, may the stains and habitual tendencies of the three doors be purified, and may you become inseparable from the power of the Skull Garland! Take the practice torma and the image, and visualize the practice torma and the image as the actual manifestation of Padma Drakpo Dorje Phurba Tsal, placing it on the crown of the head. By dissolving the Hūṃ (藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽) syllable into the sons of the lineage, may you obtain the power of sound-emptiness, the Brahma sound! Guru Padmasiddhi Hūṃ! Treasure. Hūṃ! The empowerment of the crossed vajra, which accomplishes the four activities, is conferred upon the son of the lineage. May you attain the empowerment of the power of awareness, and may you be inseparable from the power of the skull garland. Guru Padmasiddhi Hūṃ! Thus, confer and recite the Hūṃ mantra. Through such empowerment, may your three doors be blessed as the essence of the body, speech, and mind of the Guru. By entrusting this implement, like giving weapons to a brave warrior, may you cultivate the aspiration to perfect great qualities and accomplish unobstructed activities. Place the vajra in the right hand, Hūṃ! May you always hold this nine-pointed golden vajra inseparable, its meaning being the symbol of self-knowing and self-illuminating. May you attain the empowerment of the indivisibility of skillful means and wisdom. Guru Padmasiddhi Hūṃ! Entrust the iron stake to the left hand, Hūṃ! This iron stake, the essence of the three kāyas, is entrusted to the son of the lineage. May it pulverize outer and inner obstacles. May you attain the empowerment to liberate the three poisons. Guru Padmasiddhi Hūṃ! Having conferred the empowerment of body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities in this way, now, as the unified essence of the wisdom of all the Buddhas, the empowerment of the Hūṃ is being conferred. Visualize yourselves as Guru Drakpo Grolö Tsal, with the nature of the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of all the Buddhas gathered as one, as white, red, blue, yellow, and green Hūṃ syllables blazing with light at the crown of the head, throat, heart, navel, and secret place. From the five places of the Lama, five colors of Hūṃ syllables emanate in succession, dissolving into the respective Hūṃ syllables in your five places. From this, countless Hūṃ syllables of the same color emanate, filling all of appearance and existence with five-colored Hūṃ syllables, shimmering and blazing. Please maintain this samadhi. Place the white Hūṃ cakli on the crown of the head, then, at the crown of the head is the syllable Hūṃ, white, clear, and sparkling like crystal. Likewise, all of appearance and existence, all that is within the mind, is filled with the pure white Hūṃ, blazing with light. From the Hūṃ, Hūṃ emanates, and the sound of Hūṃ resounds. Thus, dissolve the white Hūṃ into the crown of the head and recite the twenty-one Hūṃ mantra. Place the red Hūṃ at the throat, then, at the throat is the syllable Hūṃ, red, sparkling like coral. Likewise, all of appearance and existence, all that is within the mind, is filled with the pure red Hūṃ, blazing with light. From the Hūṃ, Hūṃ emanates, and the sound of Hūṃ resounds.
