Know that from the expanse of freedom from elaboration, the inherent form of qualities manifests as mudras and symbols in whatever way tames beings. This is a pure and concise explanation. Secondly, after you have completed the practices for entering the mandala, offer a mandala as the benefit of the actual empowerment. Recite this supplication: Kye! Lama Buddha, accomplish activities, please grant me empowerment and blessings, to guide all limitless sentient beings, I request the empowerment of the Lama. Request three times. The Lama says: Kye ma! Noble beings of noble lineage, even if you search the Jambudvipa bound by iron horse hooves, you will not find such an empowerment. Today I will liberate you. You, at the eastern gate of the great mandala, on the lotus sun and moon seat, visualize yourselves as the form of being embraced by the powerful Hayagriva and Vajravarahi. Together with the empowerment deities and the master abiding in the sky, visualize that the victorious vase, clear as the essence of the peaceful Lama, empowers you from the crown of your head. Place the vase on the crown of your head. HUM! The vase is free from elaboration and round, with the water of unborn bodhicitta, wash away the stains of conceptualization and ignorance, the water of dharmakaya, free from elaboration and great bliss, wash away the imprints of grasping and clinging to samsara, the water of self-arisen wisdom mind itself, wash away the five poisons into the realm of the five kayas, may all afflictive emotions and imprints be purified, may the four empowerments and wisdom be perfected!
