Homage! Explaining the Dharma of righteousness. History in general and in particular. That is, abiding inseparable in mind with Kuntuzangpo Vajradhara, the representative of all Buddhas of the three times, the protector of beings equal to space, the glorious King Padma Sambhava himself, having completed the work of taming the red-faced pretas in the land of Tibet, and being near to going to the southwest to subdue the Rakshasas, in the temple of Yoru Trakdruk (present-day Tsurphu Monastery in Lhasa) which is unchanging and spontaneously accomplished, when the assembled subjects, led by the prince Lhaje, were turning the great wheel of Dharma of the ocean of secret mantra teachings, on the dawn of the tenth day of the dark half of the month, when enjoying the vast tsokhor, the goddess Mandarava came and offered praises to Guru Rinpoche, and then, the prince and nephews Vairotsana, Namkhai Nyingpo, Aryasale, and other few assembled ones, were bestowed the essence of the unsurpassed teachings of the collected tantras, transmissions, and pith instructions of the complete meaning of the collected teachings, the profound essence of the three roots, the All-Gathering Guru Heart Jewel, and the ripening liberation of the Great Perfection Padma Secret Thig, these instructions were written down three times by Denma Tsemang according to the Guru's command. Yeshe Tsogyal, the secret consort, sealed them as three treasures. Of these, what is relevant now is that, it was prophesied that the prince Lhaje Chokdrup Gyalpo would appear as thirteen incarnations of treasure revealers, the twelfth being named Orgyen Rokje Lingpa, as it appears in the Thang Yig, the incarnate great treasure revealer Chöje Lingpa Dewa Dorje Yeshe Rolpa Tsal. First, in order to repay the request for the Dharma in which the disciples especially abide, I offer the mandala. After saying this, begin to offer the mandala. With palms together and holding flowers, pray with intense devotion, please repeat after me: The holy assembly of the Three Roots, and the Lama Vajra Acharya, please bless me. Great Bliss, you are my teacher, Acharya, please listen. In order to show the way to great Bodhi, Great Protector, I beseech you. Please grant me that sequence of vows, and also grant me Bodhicitta. Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, please grant me these Three Jewels as well. In order to reach the city of great liberation, in order to obtain the position of the Three Roots, please guide and grant me, Protector. Pray three times. After praying in this way, (the Guru) sees them as worthy vessels, proclaims the greatness of the mantra and bestows blessings: Kyeho! You fortunate ones, in this mandala of the Three Roots, the Buddhas of the past, present, and future, all the victorious ones, all know this profound ritual, and attain incomparable Bodhi conduct. Even the great army of extremely unbearable demons is destroyed by this. In order for you to attain the supreme victory, please all follow this (ritual). Having said that.
