The bliss essence of the three channels' purity merges into the light body. Thus, touch the eight symbols to the respective places of the body, Place the seven treasures and eight substances in the hands, Hold the arrow banner, etc. Then, in order to ensure that the empowerment does not decline and remains stable, make a seal and consolidate it. Focus as follows: From the teacher, arrow banner, implements, and syllables, emanate immeasurable rays of light. All the blessings and powers of the three roots and the vast Buddhas, all transformed into immeasurable light rays and syllables, come down like rain and dissolve into your bodies. Visualize this. At the moment of placing the arrow banner in each place, Vairochana at the crown, Hayagriva at the throat, and Amrita Kundali at the heart, in order to protect the obstacles to life, face outwards and reside. From their bodies, emanate garlands of light flames that pervade the sky, burning and destroying all the hosts that lead astray demons and obstacles, so that they cannot find any opportunity, and are enclosed in a protective tent.
