On my sun cushion, visualize in the center of a hot and burning sensation, a red A-shad (ཨ་ཤད་) fire nature. Its shape is like the Tibetan letter "གཟབ" written upside down, with an extremely thin tip and a three-curved form. At the upper end of the central channel, on a half-moon-shaped cushion, clearly visualize a white ཧཾ་ (Tibetan: ཧཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, literal meaning: Hum) syllable facing downwards. By merely focusing on this, the gaps, chakras, and bindus will clearly appear as if manifest, until proficiency is achieved. This is the practice of channel yoga. Second, the practice of breath control: The body posture and the method of expelling impure air should be done as previously described, without error. Then, slowly inhale through the nostrils, filling the area below the navel with fiery heat. Contract the anus, slightly drawing up the lower air. Press down again and keep it sealed. Visualize the upper air passing through the single channel, colliding with the lower air, causing the red A-shad (ཨ་ཤད་) fire to rise rapidly. Intensely focus the breath and mind on this. If it is not possible, inhale in small layers. Squeeze from the left, right, and center. If it is still unbearable, exhale completely through the nostrils with a lion's roar. Visualize the clear blue air shooting out like an arrow, holding the breath slightly externally. In this way, practice the vase breathing, which has four combinations of inhaling, filling, squeezing, and exhaling, until any of the superior, intermediate, or inferior levels are reached. Do not rush or leak, but find the source of warmth solely through this fire visualization. Once familiar with this, due to the impact of the upper and lower airs, the fire of tummo will blaze about half a finger's height. After that, the key to the breath remains the same as before, and according to the capacity of the breath, first from the tip of the navel chakra, then the heart chakra, then the throat chakra and the tips of the fingers, then visualize the fire of tummo filling the entire crown chakra. Finally, when it touches the ཧཾ་ (Tibetan: ཧཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, literal meaning: Hum) syllable at the crown, a blissful experience arises, and visualize it boiling and churning. The way warmth is generated is the same as other methods, and until one can endure wearing only cotton cloth, one should learn this yoga of moving breath. Third, the practice of bindus: Visualize the flames of the burning tummo melting the ཧཾ་ (Tibetan: ཧཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, literal meaning: Hum) syllable at the crown. Sixteen bodhicitta bindus drip down, filling the entire crown chakra, thereby generating the wisdom of joy. The body posture and the key to the breath are the same as before, adjusting according to the capacity of the breath. That bindu

One half of one half, which is eight parts, descends to the throat, filling all the pulse petals, giving rise to the wisdom of supreme joy. One half of that half, which is four parts, descends to the heart. Filling all the pulse petals, giving rise to the wisdom of joy beyond joy. One half of that half, which is two parts, descends to the navel. Filling all the pulse petals of the navel. Giving rise to the wisdom of co-emergent joy. The four chakras are all filled with white and red mixed bindus. Meditate that the body is filled with bliss and warmth, and the mind is filled with bliss and emptiness, and rest in the natural state of wisdom. Like this, repeatedly meditate on objects such as tangled hair, and burning and dripping such as fleeing and chasing. In between sessions, contemplate that the white and red mixed bindus fill the body to the end of the pores, and vigorously shake the body and flap up and down. If great bliss increases too much, then in the manner of reversing the bodhicitta, experience the four joys of lower stability and dissolve them into the Hum (ཧཱུྃ, hūṃ, Hum) syllable at the crown of the head. Dissolve the fires of tummo into the A (ཨ, a, A) syllable itself. Gather all appearances such as empty channels and chakras into a state of non-conceptual non-proliferation, and rest in the realm of primordial purity. Like this, meditate until just remembering it can cause waves of bliss to arise in body and mind, thereby gaining mastery over the arrangement of bodhicitta. Second, the instruction on the great bliss of the lower gate of another body: Since this treatise is similar to other Dzogchen (Great Perfection), a person who is proficient and stable in the yoga of skillful channels, winds, and bindus should rely on an accomplished master who has an unbroken lineage of oral instructions and experience, and practice the Dakini Heart Drop, etc., and especially the profound treasure Great Compassionate One Self-Liberation from the Lower Realms, which is the same as the teaching tradition, and practice as it appears in the Dharma class of Amitayus Iron Scorpion Vajra. Third, the subsequent order: During channel practice, the expansion and contraction of the central channel; during wind practice, the essential points of inner and outer timing; during bindu practice, fire gazing, equality of self and other, and afterwards always using it as a support for mind-abiding, etc., for the usual essential points and dispelling obstacles, increasing benefits, and other skillful paths such as the general collection of samsara and nirvana, it is necessary to be guided by someone who is well-versed. All kinds of food and behavior that harm bliss and warmth should be abandoned, and beneficial food and behavior should be relied upon, generating bliss and warmth.
