Now, let's begin. First, with "The seat of bliss," etc., the impermanence of compounded phenomena is directly shown, and the difficulty of obtaining leisure and fortune is emphasized. Then, with "The faults of samsara," etc., the faults of samsara are directly shown, and the cause and effect of karma are implied, these are the four contemplations. Second, the uncommon preliminaries, with "Then the sacred Dharma," etc., the entrance to the path, refuge, is shown, and with "Immeasurable sky," etc., the root of the path, bodhicitta, is shown, these are the two contemplations. Second, the main practice, divided into: the limbs of entering meditation, the inseparability of wind and mind in equipoise, the four appearances of luminosity in the post-meditation, the guru yoga for dispelling obstacles, and the two types of conduct for enhancing realization, these are five parts. First, with "Then the body," etc., is the yoga of the three immovables. Second, the inseparability of wind and mind in equipoise, with "The six sessions combined," etc., also in the state of clarifying oneself as Padmasambhava, binding the three doors with the three immovables, eliminating stale air, holding the combination of winds, uniting the three, mind, eyes, and wind, and abiding in the realm of the great luminous bindu. Third, the four appearances of luminosity in the post-meditation, with "From that equipoise," etc., when rising from that session, like a fish leaping from clear water, the order of the arising of appearances arises as the deity body composed of body, wind, and mind, in the space of the completely pure realm of reality, piercing the key points of the vajra chain of awareness, all coarse phenomena ripen into clarity, and clarity merges into the spontaneously accomplished jewel casket. Seeing the eight similes of illusion in the post-meditation, the knot of grasping at subject and object is naturally released, and the stronghold of meaning is secured. Fourth, the guru yoga for dispelling obstacles, with "Guru yoga," etc., whatever good or bad, happiness or suffering, good or bad happens, the wisdom luminosity of the guru and one's own nature of mind are blended without difference, and abiding in this, all obstacles are dissolved like drawings on water. Fifth, the two types of conduct for enhancing realization, with "Sometimes resting," etc., the conduct of the non-elaborate suchness is shown, and with "Sometimes the body," etc., the conduct of the elaborate asceticism is shown, these two help each other, thereby enhancing realization.
