Within the vast and expansive mandala, in the center and cardinal directions, are eight-petaled lotuses, adorned with full stamens. At the heart of each of these lotuses is a sun and moon cushion. On the central cushion is the red HRĪḤ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese: 舍), and so on, as before. Vajra Samājaḥ! HRĪḤ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese: 舍)! All the Sugatas, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas residing in all directions, I invite you with faith. Please descend with compassion! EHYEHI BHAGAVAN MAHĀKĀRUṆIKA SAPARIVĀRA VAJRASAMAYA JAḤ (Tibetan, Devanagari: एह्येहि भगवन् महाकारुणिक सपरिवार वज्रसमय जः, Romanized Sanskrit: ehy ehi bhagavan mahākaruṇika saparivāra vajrasamaya jaḥ, Literal Chinese: Come, come, Lord, Great Compassionate One, with retinue, Vajra Commitment, Descend!). Then, from the HŪṂ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese: 吽) at the heart, light radiates, inviting the five families of Buddhas and their retinues. OṂ NAMAḤ SARVA TATHĀGATA ARGHAM (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओम् नमः सर्व तथागत अर्घम्, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ namaḥ sarva tathāgata argham, Literal Chinese: Om, Homage to all Tathagatas, Water Offering) to ŚABDA PŪJĀ ĀḤ HŪṂ (Tibetan, Devanagari: शब्द पूजा आः हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: śabda pūjā āḥ hūṃ, Literal Chinese: Sound Offering Ah Hum). Thus, invite and offer. I request all the Tathagatas to bestow empowerment upon me. Having prayed in this way, visualize the five families of Buddhas and their retinues bestowing empowerment. OṂ NAMAḤ SARVA TATHĀGATA VAJRA SAMBHAVA A- BHIṢIÑCA HŪṂ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओम् नमः सर्व तथागत वज्र संभव अभिषिञ्च हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ namaḥ sarva tathāgata vajra sambhava abhiṣiñca hūṃ, Literal Chinese: Om, Homage to all Tathagatas, Vajra Origin, Empower Hum). Thus, bestow empowerment with vase water, filling the entire body, purifying defilements, and obtaining the four empowerments. Visualize the remaining water overflowing upwards, each adorned with their respective family lord as a crown ornament. Bless the offerings: arising from the offerings of the ocean of Buddhas, in the infinite pure lands, there are infinite offerings, to the vase deities with infinite qualities, I offer with infinite devotion, and request the bestowal of empowerment! With this, spread it, offering from foot-washing water to music. The praise is as follows: HŪṂ HRĪḤ (Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ hrīḥ, Literal Chinese: Hum Hrih)! Gurus, Yidams, Heroes, Dakini hosts, Dharma Protectors, Command Obeyers, Guardians, and Action Makers, all the peaceful, wrathful, and blazing hosts of the Gathering of Intentions, possessing great qualities, inconceivable, and wondrous, complete in body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities, with skillful means and compassion, manifesting in countless forms, bestowing supreme and common siddhis, opening wisdom for the fortunate ones, I prostrate and praise the mandala deities of the Guru's Gathering of Intentions, with joy and reverence. I pray for the bestowal of the four empowerments, the ripening of the four continuums, and the accomplishment of the four activities. Pull the string of the mantra.
