ra. May the Vajra of Space grant me this today. Upon making this supplication, the assembly of the retinue rejoiced greatly and dissolved into light, merging into the all-pervading Lord of all lineages, the precious Guru Orgyen. From the heart of the Guru himself, who dwells as the embodiment of all refuges, rays of light emanated, and the assembly of deities for empowerment, complete with the three supports, filled the sky. They were invited with Vajrasamājaḥ (Tibetan: བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रसमाजाः, Sanskrit Romanization: vajrasamājaḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Vajra Samaja). Offering and praising, Vajradhara said to the Buddha: "For the sake of liberating beings, grant empowerment, just as the source of qualities is bestowed. Likewise, please bestow it upon this one as well." Upon making this supplication, the Tathagatas conceived the intention to bestow empowerment. The consorts and the guru together bestowed empowerment. The bodhisattvas and bodhisattvis sang vajra songs and showered flowers. The wrathful deities and wrathful consorts dispelled obstacles with fierce dances. May all have faith with their minds manifestly directed towards the activity of empowerment. May the auspiciousness that dwells in the hearts of all sentient beings, the very nature of all, the supreme lord of all lineages, the great bliss that brings forth all beings without exception, may that auspiciousness now bestow upon you the supreme empowerment. Thus it is said. Having uttered such auspicious words, a precious vase filled with a stream of nectar is placed upon your head, and by bestowing empowerment, the two obscurations along with their imprints are washed away and destroyed. Visualize that the seeds of body and wisdom, which are inherently present, are awakened and become powerful and potent. Om. Filled like a sesame seed ball, the Victorious Ones hold the vase, in order to accomplish the body of the Buddha Vajra, may the auspicious vase empowerment be bestowed. Om Sarva Tathāgata Kāya Abhiṣiñca Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཀཱ་ཡ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ सर्व तथागत काय अभिषिञ्च ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ sarva tathāgata kāya abhiṣiñca oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, all Tathagata body empower Om). The vase is placed on the head and the vase water is given. Thus it is said, and by bestowing empowerment, the stream of nectar fills the entire inside of the body. The impurities of the five afflictions are cleansed. The five aggregates are transformed. The five wisdoms are manifested. As a sign of empowerment, the five families of Tathagatas adorn the head. Visualize that the empowerment deities also dissolve into you, and are also stabilized by the mantra. Om Supratiṣṭha Vajra Ye Svāhā (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སུ་པྲ་ཏིཥྛ་བཛྲ་ཡེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ सुप्रतिष्ठ वज्र ये स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ supratiṣṭha vajra ye svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, well established Vajra ye Svaha) scatter flowers. Thus, the vase empowerment is obtained. The impurities of the body are cleansed. One has the authority to practice the path of the generation stage. The result is

Please. Through this, the fourth empowerment is obtained, purifying the defilements of wisdom, having the authority to practice the Great Perfection path, and becoming a fortunate one to obtain the fruit of the Essence Body. Having thus completely bestowed the four empowerments, finally, with the wealth of auspicious substances, auspicious symbols, and the seven precious jewels, make the aspiration to enthrone the kingdom of the Three Realms Dharma King. May the blessings of the Blessed One Shakya Simha be bestowed. The auspicious substances with the eight branches of the Noble Path, by touching them, may all unfavorable directions be pacified, and may virtue and excellence always increase. Om Mangalam Kuru Abhishincha Mi. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་མངྒ་ལམ་ཀུ་རུ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་མི།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओṃ मङ्गलम् कुरु अभिषिञ्च मि, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ maṅgalam kuru abhiṣiñca mi, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, auspicious, do, empower, me). The names of all Buddhas with complete merit, the eight auspicious symbols with eight liberations, by enthroning the assembly of Bodhisattvas, may there always be happiness and well-being for all in the world. Om Ashta Mangalam Abhishincha Mi. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཥྚ་མངྒ་ལཾ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་མི།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओṃ अष्ट मङ्गलम् अभिषिञ्च मि, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ aṣṭa maṅgalam abhiṣiñca mi, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, eight, auspicious, empower, me). The precious jewels with the seven branches of enlightenment of the Wheel-Turning King who abides in the Noble Realm, today, may we completely conquer the enemy of afflictions, and may we be empowered with the glory and wealth of existence and peace. Om Maha Ratna Abhishincha Mi. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་མ་ཧཱ་རཏྣ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་མི།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओṃ महारत्न अभिषिञ्च मि, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ mahāratna abhiṣiñca mi, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, great, jewel, empower, me). Again, in order to make it auspicious, visualize the gurus, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas filling the sky, speaking auspicious words of truth, and showering down Manda flowers like rain, so that the light of virtue and goodness pervades all directions, times, and circumstances, and is made permanent. Recite the various auspicious words spoken from the mouth, and the auspicious words that appear at the end of the ritual. Thus, through these, the guru's heart practice, which has become a great treasure of blessings and accomplishments, is practiced in the manner of an outer supplication to dispel all obstacles, and the empowerment related to it is completed perfectly, connecting with these and so on. Vow to the Samaya, offer a mandala of gratitude, offer the body, make dedications, and then send the disciples back to their respective places. The third is that the teacher completes the actions after the ritual by offering to the guru as if raining down blessings. Any qualities that arise from the yoga of the two stages of Vajrayana come from the blessings of the guru, and all the tantras agree with this view, and its root lies in devotion and respect. If one diligently practices the key points of guru yoga with devotion and respect, one will surely obtain supreme accomplishments in this life.
