When the great yogi, the foremost of all who are learned and accomplished, Padma Osel Do-ngak Lingpa, was fifteen years old, the great accomplished one repeatedly appeared and blessed him in visions, experiences, and dreams. Due to the inspiration of instructions and prophecies, it arose from the expanse of Longchen Osel's wisdom, but for a long time, it was sealed with secrecy. Later, opportunities were opened again and again through prophecies and so on, and when the निश्चित (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning: निश्चित) time arrived, it was established, thereby embracing fortunate disciples with profound maturation and liberation. Among them, in connection with the meaning of the Vajrasattva Magical Net Secret Essence Tantra, as a special instruction for the fourfold path, that is, the root of the five essential methods of practice that can reveal—the practice of the peaceful Guru's ripening stages, which is also the manner of the descent of empowerment. As it says in the text, "Also, in the great secret realm of Akanishta..." and so on, it describes the origin of the empowerment. And as it is said, "The blessing is incomparable!" (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning: The blessing is incomparable!) Like that, from Samantabhadra Vajradhara to the Lord of the Mandala, the lineage of maturation and liberation and the splendor of blessings have come down without interruption. The very beginning of all the empowerments that have come down, connecting with the empowerment of the eleven vehicles and so on, then having them offer the mandala.
