Without attainment, I go. I am the yogi of self-liberated appearances. I go to the plain of spontaneous arising conduct. When I go to the plain of conduct, I go without balanced taste, without acceptance or rejection. I am the yogi of unmade, naturally arising. I go to the plain of spontaneously accomplished fruit. When I go to the plain of fruit, I go separated from hope and fear. Again, sentient beings and the rulers and subjects of Tibet, I am the yogi beyond speech, thought, and expression. I go to the slope of view free from extremes. When I go to the slope of view, I go without day or night meditation. I am the yogi of appearance-emptiness, clear light. I go to the slope of bliss-emptiness meditation. When I go to the slope of meditation, I go separated from dullness and excitement. I am the yogi of self-liberated appearances. I go to the slope of spontaneous arising conduct. When I go to the slope of conduct, I plant the seed of omniscience. I am the yogi of unmade, naturally arising. I go to the slope of spontaneously accomplished fruit. When I go to the slope of fruit, realization manifest is the Buddha. Again, sentient beings and the rulers and subjects of Tibet, I am the yogi beyond speech, thought, and expression. I go to the depths of view free from extremes. When I go to the depths of view, I abide in the state of the unborn nature of reality. I am the yogi of appearance and clear light. I go to the depths of bliss-emptiness meditation. When I go to the depths of meditation, I abide in the state of no meditation, no distraction. I am the yogi of self-liberated appearances. I go to the depths of spontaneous arising conduct. When I go to the depths of conduct, I act according to the command of the Sugata. I am the yogi of unmade, naturally arising. I go to the depths of spontaneously accomplished fruit. When I go to the depths of fruit, self-purified is the Buddha. Again, sentient beings and the rulers and subjects of Tibet, I am the yogi beyond speech, thought, and expression. I go to the place of view free from extremes. When I go to the place of view, the nature of samsara and nirvana is it. I am the yogi of appearance-emptiness, clear light. I go to the place of bliss-emptiness meditation. When I go to the place of meditation, conceptual thought is the nature of wisdom. I am the yogi of self-liberated appearances. I go to the place of spontaneous arising conduct. When I go to the place of conduct, the nature of phenomenal existence is the mandala. I am the yogi of unmade, naturally arising. I go to the place of spontaneously accomplished fruit. When I go to the place of fruit, all is the nature of the Buddha. I

I am going to the land of the Rakshasas. Once I arrive in the land of the Rakshasas, I will display my power and magical abilities. I am going to subdue the Rakshasas, I am going to place all in happiness, I am going to introduce the Rakshasas to the Dharma. May the sovereign and disciples of Tibet remain in good health forever! Having attained the body of no birth and no death, I have no suffering of discomfort. With my compassion that is never interrupted, may you pray with faith and devotion! I will meet with you again and again. As soon as such a view is realized, samsara need not be abandoned, and nirvana need not be accomplished. The Dharmakaya, inseparable from samsara and nirvana, is what is called the Buddha's intention. Understand the meaning, all fortunate ones! When the master said this, all the lords and subjects were unhappy and shed tears. From the immaculate biography of the master Padmasambhava, this is the fortieth chapter, in which the master sang a song in response. Then, the lords and subjects prostrated and circumambulated, and requested, "We also ask to go as attendants." The master then sang this song of acceptance: Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, I take refuge in the three refuges. Lama, Yidam, and Dakini, I pray to the three roots. Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya, may the three kayas bless us. Listen, lords and subjects of Tibet! I will sing a song that symbolizes the meaning of the Dharma. The eagle soaring in the sky, falls to prey due to desire, doesn't it realize it will be caught in a net? The white lioness standing proudly on the snow mountain, wanders on the edge of the snow mountain due to desire, doesn't it realize the blizzard is coming? The spotted leopard in the southern sandalwood forest, walks through the valley due to desire, doesn't it realize it will be shot by an arrow? The fish playing in the water, approaches the bait due to desire, doesn't it realize it will be caught in a net? One's own mind is originally Buddha, but seeks elsewhere due to desire, doesn't it realize it is wandering in samsara? When one obtains a precious human body, one is distracted by worldly affairs, doesn't one realize that life is passing? Listen again, lords and subjects of Tibet! When many people gather and make noise, one possesses the instruction of one's own body as a monastery. If you abandon the distracted mind, I will return. When awareness leaks outward, one possesses the instruction of taking appearances as the path. Outward appearances!
