Padmasambhava himself requested from the Indian Vidyadhara Prabahasti the Vajrakila Virochana Tantra and countless methods of practice. Among them, this Vajrakila Secret Razor is the essence extracted from all the intentions of the Tantra. For the benefit of future beings, it is a condensed essence of the heart. For example, the essence of trees is butter, the essence of the earth is gold, the essence of the senses is the eye, the essence of the body is the heart. Through this characteristic that is more secret than secret, Guru Rinpoche himself perfected the practice inseparable from the Yidam deity. Intending to seal it again in invisibility, the consort Yeshe Tsogyal and the sisters Kharchen Palgyi Wangchuk, after arranging a mandala of gold with turquoise offerings, requested: Ema Guru Rinpoche! The essence of all the Dharma of Vajrakila, this practice of the Secret Razor, we two sisters, in order to attain accomplishment now, and for the benefit of future fortunate beings, please reveal the profound instructions! As he had instructed, Palgyi Wangchuk went to Drak Yaryongdzong, and after practicing for seven days, at dawn one night, she heard the sound of "king king" and "chom chom" from the mountainside. Her hair stood on end, and looking down, she saw an iron wolf with nine heads, fire blazing from its mouth, smoke billowing from its nose, lightning flashing on its tongue, vomiting blood from its mouth, sparks flying from the tips of its fur, coming towards Palgyi Wangchuk's practice room. She was terrified, and returning inside, she visualized herself as the deity of the Secret Razor, and sat holding the practice kila in her hand. Then, accompanied by a black whirlwind, as soon as it came to the door, she struck it with the practice kila, and it fainted, turning into a mouse one span long. After that, Palgyi Wangchuk arose from Samadhi, and went to Guru Rinpoche who was residing at Drakmar Yamalung, and told him the story. Guru said: That is a Damtsi, it seems to be a Black Kila, it must be subdued by the activities of killing and suppressing.

说需要，于是再次举行镇压邪魔的法事，然后返回。（吐蕃）国王听到这些历史后，与大臣、王妃一同来到莲师（咕噜仁波切）面前，献上金玉曼扎。莲花生大师是过去、现在、未来一切诸佛的总集化身，他说：“我等君臣，您已经赐予了吉祥自在姐妹二人其他人未曾听闻的甚深教法，请您慈悲垂念我们这些聚集在此的人，也赐予我们吧。”莲师说：“赤松德赞，你能修持吗？如果不能，就不能传授。如果能，就要像青稞比父亲更好，鹰比老虎的幼崽更好一样，从修持的把握上圆满的吉祥自在姐妹二人那里接受灌顶，而且只能传给你一个人，没有传给其他人的机会。”说完没有赐予。国王心想：吉祥自在是臣民，如果国王向臣民请求灌顶，是不合适的。于是打消了心中的疑虑。又想：如果确实是具有加持之人，请求灌顶也是可以的。于是先试探一下，看看有没有能命中的钉子。心里这样想着，太阳升起时就回到了王宫。那天晚上黎明时分，有一个具有幻术的阿杂惹，国王对他说：“你变成一个非人的形象，去往益西措嘉在达仓森格桑珠（Stag tshang seng ge bsam grub）的修行洞，进行各种试探。”国王命令他，并给了他一个金盘，他很高兴，答应照办。于是他变成了一只可怕的铁黑色乌鸦，长着铜色的喙，竖着剃刀般的翅膀，张开铁爪，口中发出各种难听的声音，然后前往益西措嘉修持金刚橛三摩地的地方。他想抢走措嘉手中的念珠，飞向天空，向国王展示作为证据。当他起飞时，益西措嘉念诵金刚橛的根本咒语，从威慑指中射出金刚橛，他上下翻转，掉落在措嘉的门前，什么法术也没能施展。

Guru Rinpoche, the embodiment of all Buddhas of the three times, said, "We, the king and subjects, have been given a profound Dharma that others have not heard by the two auspicious and powerful sisters. Please have compassion and grant it to us who have gathered here." The Guru said, "Trisong Detsen, can you practice it? If you cannot, it should not be transmitted. If you can, then like barley being better than its father, and a hawk being better than a tiger's cub, receive the empowerment from the two auspicious and powerful sisters who are complete in their confidence in practice. And there is no opportunity to transmit it to anyone other than yourself." Having said this, he did not grant it. The king thought, "Auspicious and powerful ones are subjects, and it is not appropriate for the king to request empowerment from subjects." So he dispelled the confusion in his mind. Then he thought again, "If they are indeed people with blessings, it is okay to request empowerment." So he decided to test them first to see if there were any nails that could hit the target. Thinking this, he returned to the palace at sunrise. That evening at dawn, there was an Acharya with magical powers. The king said to him, "Transform yourself into a non-human form and go to the hermitage of Yeshe Tsogyal at Taktsang Sengge Samdrub and make various attempts to test her." The king commanded him and gave him a golden patra, which pleased him, and he agreed to do so. So he transformed himself into a terrifying black iron raven with a copper beak, razor-sharp wings, iron claws, and making various unpleasant sounds from his mouth, and went to Yeshe Tsogyal, who was meditating on the samadhi of Vajrakila. He tried to snatch the Tsogyal's mala from her hand and fly into the sky to show it to the king as proof. As he took off, Yeshe Tsogyal recited the root mantra of Vajrakila and shot a kila from her threatening mudra, causing him to turn upside down and fall in front of Tsogyal's door, unable to perform any magic.
