In solitary places, Relying on the edge of the forest, Enter the state without rebirth. Conventional and ultimate Bodhicitta, Inseparably one, Through the actions of body, speech, and mind, May all beings equal to the sky, Be placed in perfect enlightenment. This is the self-condition, the nature of Dharma, And as long as sentient beings, the other condition, are not exhausted, The body, speech, and mind of the perfectly enlightened Buddha are inconceivable. This is the wheel of inexhaustible adornment, The Prajnaparamita of one's own mind, The source of the qualities of samsara and nirvana. That ultimate Mahamudra, Is realized through devotion to the Guru. The cause for achieving perfect Buddhahood, Is definitely Bodhicitta, Therefore, for the sake of beings like mother sky, Generating Bodhicitta, That thought transforms into the body. The opposing factors of Bodhicitta, Abandoning adverse conditions and cultivating favorable conditions, That which obtains the fruit of the ten powers, Is pure morality. The two Bodhicittas and morality, These three dharmas, I have no deeper profound Dharma. You should hold these three, Thus he commanded with great emphasis. Thinking thus, are the virtues of precepts and nature different? Furthermore, the king of the three realms, the protector of beings, The all-knowing and all-seeing one, Through afflictions, karma, and ripening, Creates the suffering of samsara and the lower realms, Therefore, this should be abandoned. Without afflictions and their karma, The happiness of gods and humans as a result, For the sake of attaining the three enlightenments, He told the following sons to practice. This is the situation of nature and habit, Knowing and seeing, to the sons, He established precepts, Without fault to other sentient beings, The transgressions of the precepts, Not transgressing the teachings thus spoken, To the close and loving disciples, Not specifically imposing faults. Because sentient beings do not understand, They are bewildered in the darkness of ignorance, Those bound by the noose of craving, Fall into samsara by committing misdeeds, Since they have not yet been liberated, The cause for these beings to arise, Abandon the unfavorable aspects of sin, This is the training of higher morality.

This is the method of abandonment. When divided in detail, it is said that there are two hundred and fifty categories. Some say that if it is generally prescribed like that, there is the downfall of separating from animals, not putting the bowl on the ground, which is the same as ordinary behavior. All ordinary children, all actions of body, speech, and mind, are actions that follow afflictions. This is the precept that is taught to prevent these. Moreover, Shakyamuni Buddha once said that when the world was formed in the past, the gods of the Clear Light descended to this continent with good life and merit. Because of accumulating the essence of the earth and the fat of the earth, gardens of seedlings and rice, theft and unlawful behavior arose. Therefore, it became a body of matter without light, unable to walk in the sky, and good and bad colors appeared. Because of self-praise and disparagement of others, it became increasingly worse, and eventually evil deeds increased, and evil destinies arose. Therefore, monks, you should abandon gain, respect, and accumulation. Likewise, abandon non-celibate conduct, not giving and taking, slander, and attachment to the taste of food. The great king is more capable than me. Indra, the lord of the gods of the thirty-three heavens of the four continents, because he could not be satisfied with half a seat, he generated a murderous mind and fell to the ground in an instant. Therefore, even to a burning stump, one should not generate evil thoughts, because there is satisfaction or not with desire, therefore it is said to abandon desirable qualities. Therefore, because of the three poisons of attachment, hatred, and ignorance, there are seven non-virtuous deeds of body and speech, some wise people say that this is the abandonment of the seven dharmas together with the retinue. Desire, freedom from desire, hatred, and ignorance are the same, liberation of mind and wisdom, is widely spoken of in the Vinaya Pitaka. Where there is the ubiquitous mantra, that special great treasury of treatises, it is said to be in India. All Shravaka Arhats, the great Shakyamuni Buddha has great wisdom, we follow that teacher. That which is said to be the summary of the Vinaya is: Do no evil whatsoever, perfectly practice virtue, completely subdue your own mind, this is called the Buddha's teaching. In the sutras and tantras also again and again, with great emphasis
