Wonderful and amazing words! In the center of the Jambudvipa, the snowy land of Tibet, a gathering from the fields of the ten directions, a place relied upon by the ocean of lotus-born princes. In the precious Dharma palace of glorious Drigung. The precious Lord Jigten Sumgon, upon the fearless lion throne, steadfastly abides in unwavering equipoise. From the mandala of his immaculate face, between the excellent conch-like teeth, extending the scepter of his tongue, the profound and vast sacred Dharma, he proclaims in the voice of Brahma: If one wonders where all the teachings of the Sage are gathered in meaning and what their essence is, it is like this: The Buddha, the Bhagavan; like this, the compassionate teacher; that protector, the Lion King of the Shakyas, in the past, with immeasurable great compassion, generated the supreme Bodhicitta, and in countless, limitless eons, with diligent effort, performed countless difficult deeds, inconceivable and vast, practiced immeasurable Bodhisattva conduct, perfected the ten Paramitas, and abided on the ten Bhumis, completing the two accumulations. The protector, the victorious Kashyapa Buddha, that noble being, the successor, in this world that is not yet pacified, a field abandoned by the tamers, a place disturbed by wrong views, in this world rife with the five degenerations, beheld with the five kinds of vision, and entered the womb of his mother, the Great Illusion Maya. In the Lumbini Grove, he was born as a handsome youth, the youth played and frolicked, enjoying the company of his consorts, and at the age of twenty-nine, he resided in the household. At the four gates of the city of Kapilavastu, he saw old age, sickness, and death." } ] ============================================================

Emaho! From the ocean of suffering in samsara, Having generated renunciation, he went forth completely. On the banks of the Nairanjana River, At the end of six years of ascetic practice, At the age of thirty-five, Having sat at the heart of the Bodhi tree, By the power of innate great compassion samadhi, At night, he destroyed the armies of Mara, At dawn, on the mandala of knowable objects, He attained unobstructed wisdom. Self-arisen Victorious One, Bhagavan, To the guru of the three realms, The lord of the world, Great Brahma, That unsurpassed wheel of Dharma, He made a great exhortation to turn it. Having gone to Varanasi, He arrived at the place where the sages fell (Deer Park). The Sage turned the wheel of the four noble truths, To the five excellent disciples. There, he ripened and liberated the beings to be tamed, Gradually traveling and departing, He arrived at the city of Rajagriha. On Vulture Peak Mountain, He turned the wheel of Dharma without characteristics. In Shravasti and Badsala, And in many other particularly excellent places, And in cities that are supreme roots, etc., He turned the wheel of Dharma that definitively established the meaning, Thus, immeasurable beings to be tamed, He placed in the three aspects of enlightenment. That protector, the omniscient one, In general, according to the dispositions of the beings to be tamed, And according to their faculties and thoughts, All the eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma that he spoke, Are the twelve branches of scripture, They are the three precious pitakas. They are gathered into the three trainings of meaning, practice, and discipline. Lord, protector of beings, precious one, From the face of the incomparable guru, The Dharma of samsara and nirvana, All without exception is one's own mind. Mind is unborn, like the sky, he said again and again, This is the essence of the meaning and point of all the Buddha's sacred Dharma. The mind that fundamentally grasps at self, The Dharma that follows it, grasping at phenomena, The actions of body, speech, and mind, With or without possessions, Whatever it may be, It is not able to liberate from the ocean of suffering in samsara, In these three realms, one continuously wanders. When that mind that grasps at self, Is realized to be without birth, At the source of conditioned samsara, One sees decay, downfall, and fear. Abandoning the desire for these three realms, Abandoning the activity of busyness
