‘Having Mind’ means that. 1-144 The specific distinctions here are explained as in the commentary. Second, relying on a spiritual friend means ‘relying is the support and basis’. Third, the general explanation of the immeasurable is the twelve verses beginning with ‘Stable Brahma’. The specific explanation of compassion is the thirty shlokas together, beginning with ‘Fiercely burning, falling into the hands of the enemy’, and the distinctions are explained as in the commentary. Here also, it was requested by Avalokiteshvara: ‘Bodhisattvas should not study many dharmas, but if they study great compassion, then all the Buddha's dharmas will be in the palm of their hand.’ Therefore, all Mahayana dharmas arise from this, so it should be understood that this is also explained in continuation of this good dharma. Thus, ‘To the Bhagavan’ and other words summarize the common meaning of the three. The nineteenth chapter is offering, reliance, and immeasurable. The twentieth chapter is in accordance with the aspects of enlightenment. The twenty-first chapter is the chapter on qualities. In accordance with the aspects of enlightenment, first, knowing shame and embarrassment, that is, ‘Shame abandons unfavorable aspects’ and ‘Even if a child wears very fine clothes’, correspond in order. Second, explaining stability, that is, ‘The stability of a Bodhisattva’. 1-145 Third, explaining non-arising, that is, ‘Enlightenment does not arise’. Fourth, explaining knowledge of the scriptures, that is, ‘Stable scriptures’. Fifth, knowing the world, that is, ‘The stable ones know the world’. Sixth, the distinction of the teacher, that is, ‘The dharma of the fundamental teachings’. Seventh, separately explaining the four castes, that is, ‘Nomenclature’. Eighth, explaining the two accumulations, that is, ‘The accumulations of the Bodhisattvas’. Ninth, explaining the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, that is, from ‘The wise one remembers mindfulness’ to ‘Meditating on the antidote to obscurations’, the seven sections are divided and explained in order. Tenth, shamatha and vipassana, that is, ‘Relying on true abiding’. Eleventh, skillful means, that is, ‘Perfecting the dharmas of the Buddhas’. Twelfth, dharani, that is, ‘Habituated to hearing ripening’. Thirteenth, aspiration, that is, ‘Of the stable ones’. Fourteenth, samadhi, that is, ‘With three samadhis’. Fifteenth, explaining the four seals of dharma, that is, ‘Wishing to benefit sentient beings’. Among them, the general proof that conditioned phenomena are impermanent begins with ‘Impossible from cause’. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
