By dwelling equally with focused intention, being free from various concepts of different aspects of things like aggregates, thereby obtaining joy from the joy of Dharma such as the Sutras. The second is also twofold, namely, how to continuously distinguish the stream of Dharma without interruption, without speaking, only through individual recollection, for the Dharma such as the Sutras, the light of wisdom is completely and continuously known correctly in all aspects immeasurably, and for this, in accordance with the aspect of complete purification of the transformation of the basis, or the non-conceptual that has become a precursor, the signs of non-manifest accumulation arise universally. The third is, the Dharmakaya, having abandoned the obscuration of knowable objects, is gathered by the transformation of the basis, to be completely perfected on the tenth bhumi, in order to completely accomplish it on the Buddha-bhumi, it completely holds the cause in the manner of generating habits of the same cause that are even more superior than the former. The seventh is, why are both collections of scriptures equally the same cause of the Dharmakaya, but for the extremely vast (Dharma) it is appropriate to offer incense and so on, but not for the Dharma of the Hearers? Because the extremely vast Dharma is the basis of benefit and happiness for all sentient beings, it is of great significance, therefore it is a place for generating unsurpassed and immeasurable merit. In the Madhyāntavibhāga it is also said: "For the sake of distinction and inexhaustibility, for the sake of benefiting others without weariness." Thus it is said. In the extensive commentary on the Abhidharmasamuccaya, the Ocean of Good Explanation, the Dharma teaching is the Samuccaya, that is, the explanation of the third.

The reason for using terms like "being" is to facilitate unobstructed designation. To conform to the world, because in the world, not all names that are merely of dharma are widely known, but mostly the names of sentient beings. Therefore, even though the noble ones know that there are no sentient beings, they still conform to the world's designations. To avoid causing fear, because those who are not skilled in understanding dependent origination will suddenly be frightened when they first hear that there are no sentient beings. To speak of one's own and others' afflictions and qualities, if one does not speak in terms of sentient beings, but only speaks of the nature of all defilement and purification, then one will not be able to know that these faults have been abandoned and these qualities have arisen in someone's continuum. Therefore, although the person does not exist substantially, it is still nominally established. Among these, the first establishment of the person is divided into three aspects: the distinction between root and branch, the detailed explanation of their respective natures, and the analysis of the differences in the stream-enterer fruit. The first aspect, the root distinction, refers to distinctions based on conduct, and so on. The branch distinction refers to distinctions based on conduct with desire, and so on. The second aspect, the detailed explanation of their respective natures, is divided into seven categories. The first category is distinguished by conduct, where strong and long-lasting desire arises because strong desire arises for inferior objects that cause attachment, and once it arises, it continues for a long time. The same applies to conduct with conceptual thought. Afflictions exist by nature, which means that afflictions arise in accordance with the object, without regard to degree. Afflictions exist in a very subtle nature, which means that due to the previous habituation of antidotes, even when faced with very strong objects, only small afflictions arise by nature. The second category is distinguished by renunciation, divided into three categories. The first category is the Hearer Vehicle, which needs to be understood through seven distinctions: lineage, faculties, aspiration, intention, object, practice, and fruit. Among these, lineage refers to the certainty of the Hearer's dharma nature, which is not another vehicle.
