As stated above, one should engage in practice without clinging. This is in the manner of training as a Bodhisattva. In what manner? If one is to engage without clinging, then this dependent arising, which is like an illusion, does not deny its appearance, nor does it deny its conventional terms, thus not transcending the conventional truth. It does not cling to the notion that it can be examined by reason, thus not transcending the ultimate truth. For what purpose? For the purpose of all sentient beings, not in common with Hearers and Solitary Realizers, attaining Nirvana, and for the purpose of realizing the Dharmakaya. Therefore, this shows that the practice of a Bodhisattva possesses special skillful means and wisdom. By saying that one engages without clinging, not transcending the two truths, it shows the special wisdom that is free from the extremes of imputation and denial. By saying not in common with Hearers, it shows the great compassion, the skillful means of abandoning the thought of self-interest. The sutra says: Shariputra, when a Bodhisattva engages in the Great Perfection of Wisdom, even though the Bodhisattva exists, one does not truly see the Bodhisattva. The name of Bodhisattva, Bodhi, Perfection of Wisdom, the name of Perfection of Wisdom, practice, non-practice, practice and also non-practice, one does not truly see. From form to omniscient wisdom, one does not truly see. Thus it is said. Therein, 'even though the Bodhisattva exists' shows that by eliminating imputation, it shows not transcending the conventional truth, and the remainder shows that by eliminating clinging, it shows not transcending the ultimate truth. Again, Shariputra, if this entire Jambudvipa were filled entirely with monks like Shariputra and Maudgalyayana, like a reed forest, a sugarcane forest, a molasses forest, a bamboo forest, a rice field, or a sesame field, even if it were completely filled, their wisdom would not even come close to a fraction of the merit of meditating for one day on the wisdom of engaging in the Great Perfection of Wisdom. Not even close to one in a thousand, a million, a hundred million, a number, a portion, a counting, a measuring, or an example. Thus it is said. This shows the Hearers

It shows the uncommon differences from listening, etc. For example, the six gardens mentioned symbolize the six dharmas of realization. Like this: Warmth is like a reed, unable to tolerate small harms of karma and afflictions; the top is like, just as the light mother can tolerate the harm of fire weapons, even if encountering strong harms of karma and afflictions, the root of virtue will not be cut off; forbearance is like, just as rock candy is always inseparable from sweetness, having cut off the evil destinies, in every lifetime one is born in good destinies, inseparable from the sweetness of practicing yoga; just as creepers quickly become complete, quickly generating the realization of the truth of the supreme dharma, and just as it is the supreme among fruits, it is the supreme among all realizations of the noble path of seeing; just as black and white sesame seeds are not different from flowers, etc., but the effect of sesame oil is different, so is the path of meditation, even if the nature of reality has been seen, there is no difference in meditation, but from the perspective of the different abilities of abandoning the great, medium, and small, etc. to be abandoned in meditation, six metaphors are spoken. Saying "garden" is to show that the individuals who are the basis have three different faculties of sharp, medium, and dull, but the types of realization of the warmth, etc. that are relied upon are not different. The word "path" mentioned earlier is to draw out the later metaphors, and the later ones are to draw out other metaphors for the knowledge of the blissful abiding realization when the noble ones see the dharma. Saying Shravasti and the son of Maudgalyayana is to grasp the meaning of the same realization. The rains of India, etc., show the number, power, lineage, cause, and differences beyond metaphor of a bodhisattva's wisdom practiced in one day. Who is the bodhisattva mentioned here? Is it the one who has generated the first mind, or the one who abides in conduct, or the one who does not regress, or the one who attains enlightenment in one lifetime? It is temporarily not the fourth, because the tenth bhumi is said to be the Tathagata. Nor is it the third, because the eighth bhumi prohibits the nirvana with that intention, because wisdom far surpasses all shravakas. Moreover, that nirvana is not that of the shravakas, because it is abandoned for a long time after generating the first mind. Because the objects to be abandoned in meditation have not been abandoned. If it is that of the Buddha, it is not, because this teaching has many nirvanas, the peak
