Four rivers flow from it: the Ganges to the east, the Sindhu to the south, the Pakshu to the west, and the Sita to the north. These flow from the mouths of elephants, bullocks, horses, and lions, respectively, carrying silver, beryl, crystal, and gold sand. Accompanied by five hundred tributaries each, they circle Lake Manasarovar seven times and then flow back into the four great oceans. To its north is a sandalwood mountain called "Fragrant Mountain." The second part is the explanation of the establishment of the inner content support, which is divided into other explanations of the states of evil destinies and other explanations of the states of good destinies. The first is about the states of evil destinies, including the hell realm, the animal realm, and the preta realm. First, there are the eight hot hells with their surrounding hells, and the eight cold hells with their neighboring small hells. First, regarding the hot hells: In which direction are the hells located? What is their size? Answer: Twenty thousand yojanas below this Jambudvipa is the abode of the sentient beings of the Avici Hell. It is called Avici (无间) because there is no interruption in experiencing suffering. Its length and width are twenty thousand yojanas. Above the Avici Hell, there are seven great hot hells in ascending order. They are as follows: When they strike each other with weapons and faint and fall to the ground, a voice arises saying, 'May you be revived!' Then they rise again and experience suffering as before, therefore it is called the Reviving Hell. Below it, the hell guards draw black lines on the body, therefore it is called the Black Line Hell. The hell guards crush beings between iron mountains and ram-like heads, killing each other, therefore it is called the Crushing Hell. They are locked in a burning iron house without doors and wail, therefore it is called the Wailing Hell. They enter into such a double iron house, therefore it is called the Great Wailing Hell. They are pierced from the buttocks with a burning iron skewer and come out from the crown of the head, and flames blaze from the mouth, nose, etc., therefore it is called the Hot Hell. They are pierced with a three-pronged iron skewer and pulled out from the two shoulders and the head, and flames blaze from the mouth, nose, hair pores, etc., therefore it is called the Extremely Hot Hell. These are the eight great hot hells.

There are sixteen additional sufferings. Thus, each of their four sides has four additional sufferings each. Firstly, there is a pit of burning embers, where beings lifting and placing their feet experience the creation and destruction of flesh. Beyond that is a forest of leaves like swords. Crossing that, there is a swamp of rotting corpses. When one sinks into it, sharp-beaked insects inside pierce the spaces between the beings' feet. Crossing that is a path filled with razors. Walking on it, lifting and placing one's feet, flesh is created and destroyed. Beyond that is a forest of leaves like swords. When one stays there, leaves like swords fall, cutting off limbs and branches. Beyond that is a mountain of iron Shalmari, with sharp thorns sixteen fingers long. When beings ascend and descend there, their bodies are split open, and crows with iron beaks pluck out their eyes and eat them. These three are considered one additional suffering because they resemble weapons. Beyond that is a river of ashes filled with water that causes countless transformations. When beings fall into it, people on both sides holding clubs and other things guard them and do not allow them to come out. Those beings circle the great hot hells, crying out. These become sixteen additional sufferings due to the differences in the four directions. Firstly, having been harmed in the great hot hells, they are harmed here again, so it is called additional suffering. Secondly, directly opposite those hot hells are eight cold hells. Because the body shrinks from the cold like a blister, it is called the Blister Hell. Escaping from there, shrinking like a bursting blister, it is called the Bursting Blister Hell. Because of the threat of cold, teeth chatter, and one says "Achu" and "Kyihud." The color of the skin turns blue, splitting into five or six petals, called the Blue Lotus Crack. Receding from blue, the color of the skin turns red, splitting into eight or sixteen petals, called the Lotus Crack. The skin becomes even redder, splitting into a hundred petals or more, called the Great Lotus Crack. The ephemeral neighboring hells are Rajagriha in Jambudvipa and the ocean's...
