Thus they arise. When a yogi fully and completely awakens to all dharmas in every way, at that time, because all conceptualizations cease, the conceptualizations of qualities such as power also cease. If these qualities are merely imputed, then why do conceptualizations endowed with qualities such as power not arise in all beings? If it is said that these are merely imputed by conceptualization without relying on causes and conditions, if this statement were true, then these are imputed to arise based on the special causes and conditions of the accumulation of wisdom that has been practiced for a long time, so there is no fault. If it is said that what arises from causes and conditions is established by its own characteristic, so it should not be merely imputed, then it is not so. If it is established by its own characteristic, then it should not rely on causes and conditions, because its own essence has already been established as dependent on others. It is also said in the scriptures: "Self-nature is uncreated and does not depend on others." Thus it is said. Therefore, those who say that the Tathagata has self-existent wisdom with its own characteristics, and others who say that wisdom is completely absent, like in states of sleep and fainting, both fall into the extremes of exaggeration and denigration, so they do not truly understand the qualities of the Tathagata. We acknowledge the qualities possessed by the Tathagata as they appear in the sutras, in the manner of dependent origination, so we do not fall into either extreme of exaggeration or denigration. Because those who speak of dependent origination, even in conventional terms, have no tenet that falls into the situation of being criticized by others, as has been said before. Therefore, it is also said in the scriptures: "Where are the four, such as permanence and impermanence, in this peace? Where are the four, such as end and endlessness, in this peace?" Thus it is said. We do not merely acknowledge the qualities of the Tathagata in that way, but all phenomena encompassed by defilement and purification are dependently originated, free from all extremes even in conventional terms, merely these conditions.

Although they acknowledge it as self-nature, however, if even the great charioteers of the holy land of India cannot comprehend this way, how can these blind people of the snowy land understand it? Secondly, refuting the view that it is unreasonable to show the truth to the world: When a yogi directly realizes the Dharmakaya, although the activities of mind and mental factors do indeed cease, even so, it is not impossible to show the truth to the world. For example: His Sambhogakaya, which is made of merit, and the Nirmanakaya, through its power, from other skies, emit any sound to proclaim the truth of the Dharma, from which the world can also understand the truth. The body of the Tathagata, which abides in whatever form and directly realizes the Dharmakaya, that body made of a hundred merits, is the cause of the bodhisattvas' enjoyment of the Dharma, hence it is called the Sambhogakaya. From such a body made of merit, the supreme words of the Tathagata, such as "Manjushri, there is no birth and no death," are emitted, and from any sound emitted by the blessing of the Tathagata, the disciples who have become vessels for proclaiming the Dharma in that way will surely realize the truth without inversion. Not to mention the sounds emitted from the body made of a hundred merits, from the Nirmanakaya blessed by him, any sound that clarifies the truth of the Dharma is emitted, and the world can also understand the truth from it. Not only is it emitted from the Nirmanakaya, but also by the power of the Tathagata, even if the activities of mind and mental factors have ceased, from other skies, trees, walls, rocks, etc., any sound that clarifies the truth of the Dharma is emitted, and the world can also understand the truth from it. If, for things without mind and mental factors, since there is no activity of wisdom, the actions of body and speech cannot be performed, then how can they become the cause of the arising of actions such as proclaiming the Dharma? To illustrate this, an external example is given: Just as a potter with great strength, through long effort

Just as the wheel spun by a potter with great effort continues to spin on its own even when the effort to spin it is no longer present, and is seen as the cause of various containers such as vases, similarly, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, although they do not have the effort of the three doors of body, speech, and mind, abide in the Dharmakaya and spontaneously engage in activities that are appropriate to the capacity of those to be tamed. This is due to the special characteristic of the merit of those to be tamed having ripened to hear the Dharma from the Buddha, and the aspiration made in the past when practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva. Just as these Buddhas, the Bhagavat, although they do not have conceptual thought, like a wish-fulfilling jewel and a wish-fulfilling tree, accomplish the benefit of sentient beings as is appropriate, and do not move even for a moment from the Dharmadhatu, and do not miss the time to tame sentient beings, may I also become like them! It is due to the special power of the aspiration made, and such things are manifested. These are what only the Buddha can do, and others cannot imagine. Explanation of the nature of enlightenment, the difference between body and qualities. Secondly, explaining the difference between the nature, body, and qualities of enlightenment. Among them are: explaining the Dharmakaya for one's own benefit and explaining the Rupakaya for the benefit of others. First, in the case of the first: The firewood of knowable objects is completely burned, the peace is the Dharmakaya of the victors. At that time there is no birth and no death, the mind is extinguished, so that body is directly realized. Knowable objects from form to omniscience should be burned by the fire of wisdom, so they are like dry firewood. Therefore, in the state of Vajra-like Samadhi, the fire of wisdom arising from discrimination burns all the firewood of knowable objects.
