From the single container of the printing plate's matrix, may the virtuous deeds that manifest countless forms, through the accumulation of merit that has been manifestly gathered, cause the precious essence of the Sage's doctrine to endure, fulfilling all wishes for benefit and happiness. May the lotus feet of Jamyang Gonpo remain steadfast, and may beings enjoy the splendor of perfect abundance. May I, in all lifetimes, possess the wealth of the noble ones and attain the Dharma eye, free from defilement. May it solely benefit the Victorious One's teachings, and may inconceivable goodness and excellence be accomplished. Thus, this great white gate of printing, which is the source of this treatise explaining the profound intention of the minds of all Sugatas, possessing four special qualities, is: When Jamyang Yonten Thaye, who became fortunate by the immaculate dust of the feet of the incomparable kindness of the perfect Buddha, the supreme Lama Mahapandita Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, touching the crown of his head, accomplished it according to the wishes of the supreme Lama, it was composed by the donor himself. May I and all limitless sentient beings, in all births and lifetimes, uphold the sacred Dharma of all the Victors of the ten directions and times, and may it become the cause of form and unobstructed courage.
