Therefore. If this ash is the same for you too, isn't it? No, because I have no example to prove the opposite. Not only is there no example, but when one thinks that another world exists, I should understand that the nature of knowledge is the sacred meaning, because the form of its view is the same as the support, having a body. Just like when promising to realize no-self. It can also be said like that. Here too, it is not without example, because no-self is proven by reasoning and will be proven. Secondly, for that reason, showing the lack of inherent existence, divided into two parts: things and refuting arguments. The first part is: If things do not arise from self, other, both, and without cause, then how do they arise? Because things do not arise from self, other, both, and do not depend on cause, therefore things are devoid of inherent existence. If things have some inherent existence, then it is impossible to have other ways of arising, so they must arise from any of the four possibilities, because as mentioned above, things do not arise from self, other, both, and without depending on cause, therefore things are devoid of inherent existence. In conventional terms, abandoning the analysis of the four possibilities, saying that sprouts arise from seeds, etc., this dependent arising is merely a condition and is not to be negated. If seed and sprout are the same or different is easy, it will not go beyond the way of thinking of arising from self, etc., if seed and sprout have some inherent existence, then it can be thought that it will not go beyond the way of thinking of same or different, but these are like dreams, without any inherent existence. The way of thinking of same and different etc. is not reasonable, because same and different etc. are the properties of things. If the seed has no inherent existence, then the sprout will arise from no cause, if it is admitted that the seed is completely non-existent like a rabbit's horn, then there will be that fault, but it does not have true inherent existence, but it is not completely non-existent, because the name of the seed can be seen. Therefore, when the Madhyamikas say that all phenomena are without inherent existence, it does not mean that they are completely non-existent.

It is not a commitment. However, like illusions and so on, it speaks of the nature of falsehood. Similarly, even if existence in conventional truth is promised, no self-nature is promised at all. Therefore, there is no contradiction with the aspect of emptiness. Second, refuting disputes is divided into two. First, refuting the dispute that it does not become the path of seeing. If there is no self-nature, how can these appear in front and become the path of seeing? Dense ignorance like clouds obscures the world. Therefore, objects appear reversed. Like a cloud of rain obscuring the nature of the sky, the darkness of ignorance is so dense that worldly people are obscured from seeing the emptiness of the nature of blue and so on. Therefore, the objects of children appear reversed and become the object. Because of being obscured by ignorance, the reality is not seen, but how can it be seen reversed? In order to clarify by way of example, due to the power of ignorance, what is not like that also appears like that. By the power of cataracts, some perceive hair, double moons, etc. They also grasp and hold peacock feathers, bees, etc. Likewise, by the power of ignorance, the unskilled perceive various compounded phenomena with their minds as real. Just as the power of cataracts causes some with cataracts to grasp non-existent hair and double moons, etc., similarly, due to the power of ignorance, unskilled children also perceive various internal and external compounded phenomena as truly existing with their deluded minds. Since this delusion of appearing as non-existent is perceived, how is it perceived? Actions arise dependent on ignorance; without ignorance, they do not arise. Only the unwise perceive it thus. The sun of wisdom dispels the thick darkness; the wise, realizing emptiness, are liberated. Actions such as merit and non-merit arise dependent on ignorance, which is the nature of clinging to self, the cause of clinging to things as real. As it is said in the sutra: "Conditioned by ignorance are actions," and the individual associated with ignorance.
