Since impure appearances are caused by ignorance, they do not appear to the Thus-Gone-Ones. If it is said that since golden ground and immeasurable jeweled mansions, etc., are pure wisdom appearances, they exist, and there will be no delusion. Then, those pure appearances are not truly established, because they arise from roots of virtue such as aspirations and field cultivation, and are dependently originated. If they did not arise from causes and conditions, but were inherently established, then whatever non-Buddhists say: The white, widespread flower, The milk and yogurt like pearls. Like an umbrella erected upwards, The Victorious Ones say is liberation. Just as when transcending the three realms, one desires liberation like a white umbrella raised upwards, know that this has become external to the teachings. If it is said that since those pure appearances are dependently originated, they are not truly established, then the Thus-Gone-Ones remain in the fault of not having abandoned delusion, because having an object of false appearance is contradictory to being non-deluded. If it is said that the Buddhas do not possess all mind and mental factors, then since they do not have knowledge of suchness and the extent of things, there will be no activity such as turning the wheel of Dharma. If it is said that the Thus-Gone-Ones turning the wheel of Dharma does not depend on the movement of discriminating and non-discriminating wisdom, but because of past aspirations and the power of the merit of those to be tamed, it arises effortlessly, just as the sound of Dharma arises from the divine drum, and in some pure lands, the Thus-Gone-Ones, by the power of past aspirations, even from inanimate objects such as plants and forests, the sound of Dharma such as emptiness (Tibetan: སྟོང་པ་ཉིད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: शून्यता, Sanskrit Romanization: shunyata, Literal Chinese Meaning: emptiness), signlessness (Tibetan: མཚན་མ་མེད་པ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अनिमित्त, Sanskrit Romanization: animitta, Literal Chinese Meaning: signlessness), and wishlessness (Tibetan: སྨོན་པ་མེད་པ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अप्राणिहित, Sanskrit Romanization: apranihita, Literal Chinese Meaning: wishlessness) arises. This aspect will be explained in detail in the text below, so it is not elaborated upon. Now, wanting to explain the ultimate truth, because it is inexpressible and not an object of knowledge, it cannot be directly explained, so in order to make it clear to the listeners through their own experience, an analogy is explained.

Whatever distorted appearances, like hairs, are observed due to the power of cataracts, Where is their true nature seen by pure eyes? Having seen it, understand it here as it is. A person with cataracts, through the power of the cataracts, contemplates that there are distorted appearances such as hairs in the container of coral, etc., held in their hand, and wanting to remove them, they realize it is laborious to overturn the container. A person without cataracts thinks, "What is this person doing?" and goes to them, focusing their eyes on the place of the hairs, but does not see any hairs. They also do not conceptually distinguish the place of the hairs with any characteristics such as things with or without support. Furthermore, a person without cataracts, wanting to dispel the conceptual clinging to hairs by the person with cataracts, says in their presence, "There are no hairs." Even so, there is no fault of slandering the speaker. The very nature or essence of hairs, etc., is only seen with pure eyes in the container of coral, etc., and not by the vision of someone with cataracts. Similarly, when examining the nature of the two truths here, the appearances of the aggregates, elements, and sources seen by children deluded by the cataracts of ignorance are the conventional truth. Those Buddhas, Bhagavat, who are free from the cataracts of ignorance, just as pure eyes do not see hairs, whatever does not perceive the aggregates, etc., should be known as the ultimate truth. If such a nature is indeed unseen, how is it seen by the Buddhas? It is true. However, it is said that they see it in a way that they do not see anything. As it is said in the Noble Sutra Entering the Two Truths: "Son of the gods, if the ultimate truth were to transform into the nature of the objects of body, speech, and mind, then it would not be counted as the ultimate truth, but would transform into the conventional truth. However, son of the gods, in reality, the ultimate truth is beyond all expressions, without distinctions, unborn, unceasing, unspeakable, and...
