Now, it is not established that it can be done. If the object to be produced becomes the producer, then the other itself is not established. Therefore, this conceptualization of arising from another is not reasonable. Third, refuting by examining the four extremes: If the producer produces the object to be produced from another, then that cause will become the object to be produced as either existent, non-existent, both, or neither. Because there is no other way. For now, the first case is not reasonable, because what is the need for a producer for what already exists? Because it is not reasonable for what has already arisen to arise again. Because the faults of etc. have already been explained. What can the producer do for what is not to be produced? Because it is non-existent like a rabbit's horn. Therefore, it is said in the Four Hundred: "Those who desire the fruit to be existent, and those who desire the fruit to be non-existent, for the sake of a house, pillars etc., and also for the sake of decoration, are useless." And it is also said in the scriptures: "If the fruit is existent by nature, what need is there for a cause to produce it? If the fruit is non-existent by nature, what need is there for a cause to produce it?" This is what is said. If it is both existent and non-existent, then what can the conditions do for it? Because the faults that have already been explained for both cases will arise, and it is also not possible for the nature of both existence and non-existence to exist in one thing at the same time. Therefore, it is also said in the scriptures: "How can Nirvana be both existent and non-existent? The two are not in one, like light and darkness." This is what is said. What can the conditions do for the fruit that is separate from both existence and non-existence? Because by abandoning both existence and non-existence, the fruit is not existent. And when both existence and non-existence are not established, because they are prevented, the existence that is prevented is also not, and the non-existence is also not, and it cannot be established. As it is also said in the scriptures: "What does Nirvana show that is neither non-existent nor existent? Existent things

If they arise, things will arise. As it is said. Second, refuting in conventional terms, there are two aspects: refuting arguments and showing the answer. First, all the reasons we have stated in order to establish arising from other, are like dry firewood soaked in butter, burned by the fire of your intelligence, it is enough to stir the firewood of reason with the blower of the fire of your intelligence. If the reason is not shown, is it not that the desired meaning cannot be established? No, it is not. Because, without reason, arising from other can be established from worldly fame. As it is said: Abiding in one's own view, since the world is considered a measure, what is the use of speaking of reason here? Even arising from other is understood by worldly people, therefore, since there is other-arising here, what is the use of reason here? These worldly people do not follow reason, but abide in their own views and engage in acceptance and rejection. As they do, they also obtain meaning. Therefore, since the views of worldly people themselves are considered a measure, what is the use of speaking of reason in this context of establishing other-arising? Because things arise from other causes, which is also understood by the views of worldly people. Therefore, even without reason, there is other-arising, so what is the use of reason in establishing other-arising here? Moreover, refuting other-arising is also harmed by the views of worldly people. The answer to this is: Incidentally showing the establishment of the two truths. Incidentally showing the establishment of the two truths, and showing that it is not harmed by the ordinary world. First, for those who have not truly understood the meaning of the scriptures, and who have fully matured the habit of appearing to be attached to things in beginningless samsara, when hearing without separating from the friend of appearing to be attached to things, this reliance on the perverted view of worldly harm, if the many sources and vastness of the world are not shown, it is impossible to be liberated from the perverted view of worldly harm. Therefore, for the time being, let us explain the establishment of the two truths. Among them, there is the general showing of the difference between the two truths, and the explanation of their respective natures. In the first, there is also the difference between the direct statement and the incidental showing of false appearances.
