Since all things arise for the sake of the fruit, namely the three feelings, therefore they are not permanent, that is, they do not exist by their own nature. Therefore, their nature is emptiness. In order to show that the emptiness of the nature of all things is not revealed by the words of other teachers, the word "except the Thubpa" is added. Some say that things that arise for the sake of the fruit are not permanent, but some things that do not have both the parts of the producer and the produced, such as from the sky to the end of consciousness; some things that are producers but have no produced, such as atoms, are permanent. Because they do not understand the existence and permanence of these things, the Tathagata does not see them as they are. If so, here, happiness and other things are regarded as arising from their own causes and conditions, so no matter where, at any time, things that do not depend on causes and conditions do not exist. Because it is so, it can be understood in fact that there is no permanent thing that is not made by causes and conditions, such as the sky, at any time and in any place. Therefore, in this way, it can be determined that the Tathagata has seen it as it is, because the things fabricated by other schools and not arising from interdependence do not exist and are not permanent. The second part is to deny the self, deny the sky, deny time, deny atoms, deny the permanent liberation, and deny the permanence of the three times, and so on in six aspects. The first aspect is: if happiness and other things arise dependently, and the self is the cause of these things or aggregates, therefore the self exists, and it is also permanent, because it exists and has no cause. If the self exists, then other permanent things of the same kind as the self also exist. If you say that, it is unreasonable, because things, nature, self, and permanence are just different names. Without cause, things and so on do not exist, just like rabbit horns and so on. It cannot be uncertain with the sky and so on, because that would also deny their existence. If you want to avoid this fault and admit that the self has a cause, then whatever has a cause is not permanent, just like happiness and so on. Because it is so, so

That which arises from non-existence is not said to be created by the Bhagavan who knows this. As it is said in the scriptures: The wise will understand the law of dependent origination, and will not rely on extreme views such as permanence or annihilation. Things with causes and conditions can be understood, things without causes and conditions do not exist. If, because one sees that conditioned things such as pots and happiness are impermanent, one understands in essence that I and other unconditioned things are permanent, then, if one sees that impermanent things such as pots are conditioned, and one admits that unconditioned things are permanent, then, understanding in essence that one sees existence in conditioned things, then the permanence of unconditioned things, like flowers in the sky, is actually non-existent. Secondly, in the Abhidharma, because space and selective cessation and non-selective cessation are admitted to be permanent and existent, if it is said that the admission harms the refutation of unconditioned permanence, then, space and cessation, etc., are permanent, these are only the imaginations of ordinary people of schools such as the Vaibhashikas who do not understand that these are only names. The noble ones who are skilled in the reality of things, let alone observing these from the ultimate point of view, have not even seen the terms of permanence and existence from the conventional point of view. For example, space is only formless, selective cessation is only the abandonment of afflictions by wisdom, and non-selective cessation is only the non-arising due to the lack of causes and conditions, and these names are merely imputed to them. The sutras say 'permanent' only because these do not exist as things, and there is no other change, so it is said to be permanent, but it is not mainly to show establishment. If it is said that space is permanent because it is pervasive. Impermanence is not pervasive, like a pot. If space pervades all directions, then, that part of space connected to the eastern pot, where the space with parts pervades, does not exist in all directions such as east and west, if it exists, then the eastern pot, which is inseparable from it, should also exist in all places. If one wants to avoid this fault and admits that the part of space that pervades the east does not exist in other directions, then, therefore, the direction
