Because he is a protector, he is arrogant. Since he is protected by others, why is he not free from arrogance? If the king separately governs the people and plunders one-sixth of the merit of those meritorious people under his jurisdiction, then he should be arrogant. Now, because the intrusion of the five degenerations is serious, it is difficult to find people in all castes, including Brahmins, who like their own profession and can easily obtain a livelihood. Therefore, most of them seem to be engaged in non-virtuous deeds. If you are the one who plunders one-sixth of the merit of those people, then you will also become the one who plunders one-sixth of the non-virtuous deeds. Therefore, you have little chance of obtaining a good rebirth. If you cannot obtain a good rebirth even with your own sins, what about the sins of other sentient beings? If the king is the protector and autonomous one of the world, then he should be arrogant. Everything he does is done by being driven by others. Whoever is not autonomous is called a fool in the world. There is no one like you, the king, who is controlled by others, because all these things and non-things are done by being driven by others. If the protection of the world depends on the king, then he should be arrogant. The king says that protection depends on me, and he takes rewards from the world. If it is necessary to protect the world separately, it is not done that way, because here, for those who are unable to pay rewards and those who are deeply sinful, killing, binding, and beating, etc., he himself is also creating sins. Then who in the world is as merciless as him? Therefore, this is not a true protector, so he should not be arrogant. The second point is, if the king should not be compassionate to criminals such as thieves, if he does so, the world will be destroyed. If the king should not be compassionate to those who do evil, then all young beings will tend to evil, so they will not become protected. Therefore, those who do not engage in sinful deeds do not need to be protected because they have protected their own territory, but it is necessary to protect those who do what should not be done. If the people
