By gradually consuming husked rice and unhusked rice, coarse food was produced, and from this causal combination, the male and female sexual organs arose. Due to the different forms caused by the sexual organs, and by the power of past habits, attachment arose for desired objects. By engaging in mutual misconduct and intercourse, the place of birth from the womb came into being. Thereafter, due to the fault of hoarding, the act of taking what was not given occurred. To prevent such actions, a person of good character was appointed, and by accepting this task, he was known as the king. Those who wished to subdue their senses and saw complete attachment as a fault, and turned their minds away from the city, were known as Brahmins. Those who acted according to the king's command were of the Vaishya caste. Those who engaged in evil occupations such as plowing fields were of the Shudra caste. Because of this, and for the sake of their respective livelihoods, the four castes were named in the world. Therefore, all sentient beings initially had no distinction of caste. Therefore, it is unreasonable to be proud on account of caste. If there was no distinction of caste at first, but later the four castes such as Brahmins remained, so there is a difference of caste, then the lineage of caste born from parents is difficult to find. Because the distinction of the four castes has appeared in the world, and until now a very long time has passed, and the minds of women are very fickle towards men, they have children by uniting with other castes, therefore the caste will be mixed up, so there is no one called the Kshatriya caste who comes from their own pure lineage, therefore it is unreasonable to be proud of caste. If one cannot become a Kshatriya by caste, but becomes a Kshatriya by raising the people, then if the Shudra caste can also be called a Kshatriya by the work of the Kshatriyas such as governing the world, then the Shudra caste can also become a Brahmin by the work of the Brahmins such as giving and receiving alms, and reciting the Vedas, what is the reason why it cannot be transformed? Therefore I think. In this way, there is no certainty in caste, so one should not be arrogant. If, by the great power of kingship, when the time is ripe, giving most people enjoy

If it is said that because the king has the ability to give, he is the richest, and therefore should be arrogant, although it is true that the king has the ability to give away the wealth accumulated over a long period of time to the majority of people, this cannot be achieved without disturbing the majority of people. Disturbing the majority of people will instead become a great sin, and from this, one will suffer great pain in the future. Therefore, although a king can give away his power, the sins accumulated for the sake of giving away power cannot be given to others, and one must suffer the pain oneself. Therefore, for the sake of giving a small benefit to others, accumulating great sins, which wise person would destroy himself in the future with its karmic results? Therefore, this is a place of shame for the holy ones, not a reason for arrogance. If it is said that a king who is in a great royal power should have great arrogance, then when arrogance arises from one's own power, thinking "I am superior to others," one should look at the perfect power possessed by enemy kings who are equal in power to oneself, or even more superior to oneself, and who are capable. In this way, arrogance inflated by power will not remain in the hearts of the holy ones. Therefore, those who wish to benefit beings should abandon arrogance and treat all beings with respect, like a guru or lord, and should not discriminate against them. In this way, one will become a vessel for all perfections, because one has entered the ranks of making beings happy and satisfied. The explanation of the method of abandoning self-grasping from the Four Hundred Verses on Yoga Practice, that is, the commentary on the fourth chapter. Explanation of Chapter Four.
