Because that is not the material of the seed, because they do not have sprouts. It is also unreasonable for a result to arise from non-causes and conditions, therefore a result does not arise. Secondly, if someone thinks that, from this perspective, the fault lies in the fact that the aggregate does not have the ability to produce a result, but the cause has the ability to produce a result, and the aggregate only helps the cause, and that cause gives rise to action and disappears in order to produce a result, and the result that the cause has helped will also arise: If the cause gives action to the result and disappears, then what is given and what disappears, the nature of the cause becomes two. If it is thought that the cause gives rise to action and disappears in order to produce a result, then, the part of the cause that gives to the result, and the nature of the cause that disappears, become two, which is also unreasonable, because half becomes permanent and half becomes impermanent, and permanent and impermanent things that contradict each other cannot exist in one thing. If the cause disappears without giving action to the result, then the result that arises after the cause disappears becomes without a cause. If one wants to avoid the fault of the cause's nature becoming two, and thinks that the cause does not give any action to the result, but disappears with its entire nature, then the result that arises after the cause disappears becomes completely without a cause, because without a cause is non-existent, so this idea is also unreasonable. Thirdly, if someone thinks that, from this perspective, the fault lies in the fact that the result does not arise after the cause disappears, but only produces the result that arises together with the aggregate: If the result also arises together with the aggregate, then the producer and the produced will become simultaneous. If the aggregate of causes and conditions arises together with the result, then the producer and the produced will become simultaneous, which is also unreasonable, because just like the left and right horns of a cow, the producer and the produced are not seen in simultaneous things. Here, the Vaibhashikas say that things arise from the unarisen.

No, because it would become suddenly arising. However, the result exists in the future state before the aggregation of causes and conditions, and the aggregation of causes and conditions produces it in the present state, but the substance itself exists, so they say. If the result were to arise before the aggregation, then the result without causes and conditions would become causeless. If the inherent nature of the result were to arise before the aggregation of causes and conditions, then it would become independent of causes and conditions, and a result independent of causes and conditions would become causeless, which is unreasonable, because it would imply that things like rabbit horns also exist. For what is already established, there is no need to rely on causes and conditions, so it is also unreasonable. Fourth, the Samkhya school says that one should distinguish whether the cause ceases after giving or ceases without giving, the cause and the result are not different entities, but the cause itself ceases and exists as the nature of the result, so they say. If that is the case, if the cessation of the cause is the result, the cause would become completely transformed. The cause that arose earlier would also become arising again. If the cause ceases and then the result arises, and that result is also the nature of the cause, just as an actor changes costumes, the cause merely transforms into the state of the result, and it is not the arising of a result that did not exist before. Therefore, the cause would become permanent, which is also unreasonable. The Shatashastra says: Whatever, wherever, whenever, does not exist without dependence. Therefore, at no time, in anything, does anything permanent exist. So it is said. Furthermore, according to this view, the cause that arose earlier would also arise again. What has already arisen will not arise again, because there is no need, and it would become endless. Fifth, if the cause produces the result, does it produce it having ceased or not having ceased? Does the result also produce it having arisen or not having arisen? If it is said that the cause produces the result having ceased, how can what has ceased, which becomes extinct, produce a result that has already arisen? The cause having ceased
