If it is said that this can be established, then, when both permanence and impermanence cannot be established as previously stated, by negating them, where would there be something that is neither permanent nor impermanent? Therefore, this is also unreasonable. The second case is: if it is thought that from beginningless samsara, there exists some permanent "self" that transmigrates between birth and death and wanders completely, this is also unreasonable. If something comes from somewhere and goes somewhere, then if samsara is beginningless, it does not exist. If a doer or sentient being comes from a previous place to the current place, and from the current place goes again to the future place, then if the cycle of birth and death is beginningless, then coming here from the previous place and going from here to the future place does not exist. Because for the permanent or impermanent "self" or doer, coming and going are unreasonable. Because for the permanent, the action of coming and going is unreasonable, and for the impermanent, it will be destroyed where it is born. Therefore, the permanent "self" that transmigrates and wanders from beginningless time does not exist. Because as previously stated: if there is no permanent, then what would be impermanent? Permanent and impermanent, and the negation of both. If when there is no permanent at all, what would become impermanent because of destruction? When neither permanent nor impermanent can be determined, being both permanent and impermanent, and the negation of both, being neither permanent nor impermanent, that also does not exist. Therefore, the four views regarding permanence, etc., are impossible on the previous boundary. Second, the refutation of the four views of having an end, etc., includes the refutation of having an end and not having an end, and the refutation of the third view of aggregates. First is the proposition, then the explanation of the argument. First is: if the world has an end, then what would be beyond the world? If the world is endless, then what would be beyond the world? If the act

Now, if the world of self-nature is finite, with the characteristic of being cut off after death, then how can there be another world? Wouldn't it just be non-existence? The other world does exist, therefore, it is unreasonable for the world to be finite. If the self or the aggregates do not perish, and the world is infinite with the characteristic of entering the next life, then how can there be another world? Because the former and the latter are the same, there is no distinction between this world and the other world. The other world is not non-existent, therefore, infinity is also unreasonable. Furthermore, because the continuum of aggregates is like the flame of a lamp. Therefore, neither finitude nor infinity is reasonable. Because the continuum of aggregates, the previous moment after previous moment ceases, and the later moment after later moment arises without interruption, this is like the flame of a lamp, therefore, because the later moment arises, finitude is not reasonable, and because the previous moment ceases, infinity is also not reasonable. The second case is: if the previous moment ceases, and relying on this aggregate, that aggregate does not arise, then the world will become finite. If the previous moment of the human aggregate ceases, and relying on this human aggregate, the later moment of the divine aggregate does not arise, then, like a lamp with exhausted oil and wick, the world will become finite. Because the body of the next life will arise, finitude is also not the case. If the previous moment does not cease, and relying on this aggregate, that aggregate does not arise, then the world will become infinite. If the previous moment of the human aggregate does not cease, and relying on this human aggregate, the later moment of the divine aggregate does not arise, then, at that time, the previous moment's aggregate itself does not perish, and enters another world, the world will become infinite, when the previous aggregate ceases, and the later aggregates arising from its cause arise, then the world will not become infinite. Second, refuting the third view of aggregates, divided into refuting the view that both are true and refuting the view that neither is true, first is: if one aspect is finite, and the other aspect

If there is no end, the world becomes both finite and infinite. That is also illogical. If someone transmigrates from this world to another, one part of the self-aggregate is finite because it is destroyed, and one part is infinite because it does not perish and continues to exist. If at that time the world becomes both finite and infinite, it is also illogical that one part is destroyed and one part is not destroyed, because contradictions in one thing are not allowed. Why is it illogical that one part is destroyed and one part remains? If here it is conceived that one part is destroyed and one part remains, is it in the near-taker or in the near-taking? According to the first case, how can it be that one part of the near-taker is completely destroyed and one part is not completely destroyed? Therefore, that is illogical. The near-taker is the self, and when it is sought in the five aggregates, it does not exist. How can something that does not exist be such that one part is completely destroyed and one part is not completely destroyed? Therefore, that is illogical. According to the second case, how can it be that one part of the near-taking is completely destroyed and one part is not completely destroyed? Therefore, that is also illogical. If there is some near-taker, then there should also be near-taking. When there is no near-taker found when searching in five ways, then there is also no near-taking. At that time, how can it be that one part of the near-taking is destroyed and one part is not destroyed? Therefore, that is also illogical. The second is: If both finite and infinite are established, then neither finite nor infinite is established, depending on what one wants to establish. If both the infinite, where the previous aggregate does not perish and goes to the next birth, and the finite, where the previous aggregate perishes and the next does not arise, are established, then by negating them, it is established that it is neither finite nor infinite. In the way it was said, neither finite nor infinite exists, so there is no negation of them either. Therefore, it is illogical to say that it is neither finite nor infinite. The second (part) ends.
